I was playing against Grand Warlord Voss on advance mode in Megalopolis. I had everything set up... He was down to one HP, and I ended the turn on the last of my heroes. The police were ready to strike and deliver the finishing blow, and then, ROOFTOP COMBAT! One phase before they activate, they're destroyed by another environment card! *Headdesk.*
