Quick questions for cards like resilient hide and 'exactly 1 damage':
a) Does reduced damage take into consideration when taking 'exactly 1 damage'? (I.E. I get hit for 2 damage and have damage reduced by 1 to take 1 net damage, would that then be prevented?)
b) Does exactly 1 mean i an attack does 1 fire and 1 melee, would it all be prevented or none of it?
Thanks!

a) Yes, Resilient Hide would prevent the damage, so in that case you would take no damage
b) It would all be prevented because it is seperate instances of 1 damage

This card is one reason I really like the Naturalist. Note also that having damage "prevented" means it doesn't even matter whether it's irreducible, since you're not reducing it but stopping it altogether. Try that against an unbuffed Plague Rat :D.
But yeah, combine this card with Rhino Form and stuff has to be dishing out at least three damage in order to hit you. There's a one-round Ongoing card (Indomitable Force, I think) which gives you another point of sock (till the start of your next turn, at which point the card is destroyed). And a one-shot, Threatening Stomp, which deals one target four damage and, if you're in Rhino Form, forcibly redirects all damage from that target onto you for a round. Tank power! :D

Me and my friend Max played against Voss using Knyfe, Haka, Naturalist, and Parse. I though that what the Above posters said was true, so due to Resiliant Hide and Rhino Form Naturalst survived more damage than he should have. It was pretty epic thanks to being able to Shapeshift out of turn due to the incaped guys.

Just make sure that you stay in Rhino form for the rest of that turn. I foolishly advised my Naturalist-playing buddy to switch to Gazelle so he could get extra healing from Phosphorescent Chamber, and then he ended up getting killed by a Sonic Mine hitting him four times instead of all four of us. Luckily, the player didn't hold a grudge; his other hero ended up being the last man standing while both of mine died, so Karma was satisfied.

Reminds me of the last time I played an alchemical redirection without flesh to iron... I took 21 damage in a round and never recovered...
