I was playing a game yesterday with my brorher's new Room City cards and we wound up fighting Plauge Rat in Pike Industrial Complex, I have a question should a card called "unstable mutagen" or something like that which brings rat monsters out of the trash, and buffs their damage and defense also buff Plauge Rats damage and make him harder to hurt?

Him being a rat is right in his a name, but his description is only "villain" as opposed to Dawn who if memory serves actually has "Villain, citizen" in hers.

It probably would not have effected the outcome of the cane, but I would like to hear your guys thoughts on the matter...

Experimental Mutagen will have no effect on Plague Rat. As he lacks the keyword "Rat".

LMAO I never thought about Mutagen possibly effecting Plauge Rat.

Sounds like I found a new house rule…

My favorite bit of that Villain/Environment combo is getting Plague Rat and the Mutated Rats to fight. Hehe.

Custom Scenario:  Plague Rat gains the keyword Rat.  Gonna do it.

I have always thought this was a huge oversight.  Why else did they publish Plague Rat in the Rook City expansion, if not to call attention to how he resembles the Rats of Pike Industrial?  I guess they just didn't want to get too experimental with the first-ever SOTM expansion.

He did originally, I think? But then they changed it; possibly because it doesn't actually interact with anything in his deck.
