Is Damage Dealt to Self Buffed/Debuffed?

Yeah, so if the villian card says I deal 2 damage to myself, but I'm buffed up to 3+ on my damage, does that mean that I actually deal 5 damage to myself?

on the upside, Superhuman durability/shielding winds/Undaunted can help kick that back down again.

Yeah, just watch out if you're Chrono-Ranger…with Hunter and Hunted, it doubles up, so you'll actually deal +6 

Also, things like Synaptic Response and the Amulet of the Elder Gods can work to send that damage off to a different target, as long as, in the case of the Amulet, that you haven't already been hit that turn.
