Apologies if this has been asked before, but my search-fu is not that strong

What happens to cards that key off "damage dealt", if the damage is reduced to 0? For example, I was playing against Apostate earlier against 3 heroes tonight, and I had Visionary play Twist the Ether on Apostate, reducing his end of villain turn damage to 0. He then drew Gauntlet of Perdition, which deals 1 infernal damage when Apostate deals damage. Since Apostate dealt 0 damage, does Gauntlet of Perdition Trigger?

Also, I played that a target that is immune to damage, can still be the target of an attack, but the damage is reduced to 0. But would abilities that trigger off damage dealt go off? Technically, damage was dealt, but the actual damage TAKEN was 0, does the game make such a distinction?

Thanks in advance!

If damage is reduced to 0, no damage would be dealt, so anything that is triggered on damage being dealt would no trigger. It's the same with Immunity, damage is not actually dealt to the target, thus no triggers for it.
