1. Omnitron and Omnitron X are Nemeses. However, Omnitoron doesn't do any direct damage from his card. Are his one shots, or other cards in his deck that might state "Omnitron deals X damage..." buffed by one against Omnitron X?

2. Omnitron X's base power is "Reveal the top card of a deck, put t into play or into the trash." If I use this on my own deck and get a One Shot, can I use it right away, or does it have to go in the trash. My group was thinking One Shots don't go INTO play, they just get played, therefore they had to be trashed. (Everytime I used the power on my deck, I drew a One Shot....)

3. Not a rules questions; but an art question. In Apostate's deck, he has the "Condemnation" card. My card has a green solid circle near the middle. Is this a printing error or should it be there? It could be a moon that's strategically placed that you can see through a big notch in sword...or not... When I initially saw it it just looked wrong. I'm not sure.

(EDIT: Thought of another)

4. From Apostate's deck. At the end of the villian turn, Imp Pilferer's destroy equipment or ongoing cards as the number of Imp Pilferers in play. If ther are two IP in play, do they both destroy 2 cards? 3 in play would each destroy 3 cards?

There were some more questions, but that's all I can think of off hand.

Thanks.

1. Yes, anytime something deals damage to their nemesis, it will be increased.

2. One-Shots can be put into play.

3. I'll let someone else answer this one, as i'm not sure.

4. Each one would destroy 2 if there are 2 Imps in play, meaning 4 cards destroyed total.

Thanks so far. Thought of another.

A member of my group was insisting that whenever you take a card from the top of the deck you are "drawing a card" whereas another argued that only when a card (or turn phase) says "Draw a card" are you actually drawing a card. So, for instance, if there's a card preventing you from drawing any cards, are you allowed to use Omnitron X's ability which states (as above) "Reveal the top card of a deck and put into play or trash."?

Revealing cards is specifically not the same as drawing cards, so yes you can reveal cards even when you are not allowed to draw cards. Conversely, if you have no cards in your deck, you will have nothing to reveal and you will not cause the trash to be shuffled back into the deck.

Revealing is not drawing, so you can do that.

I checked out my Apostate deck and you're right, that is kind of weird. Unfortunately, I can't find other art of the sword, so I don't know whether it just has a hole in it or not.

3. It's not a printing error. If you look at the art for Fanatic's Smite the Transgressor you can see the green orb on Condemnation there too. It's very muted by whatever mystic shield Apostate has up but it is there.

So, back to the Nemsis question… Are you considered a Nemesis to the entire villian deck, including minions? What about Devices which seem to be part of omnitron. What about villians who have weapon targets, such as (I believe) Ambuscade?

Is the key to look for the phrase "(Villian name) does x damage"? on any sort of One Shot or 'add-on' target (like weapons or componants).

Likewise, would the villian do extra damage to his Nemisis' other Target cards? Unity's bots for example.

The key is the name on the card, if it says "(Nemesis) does damage" then it's coming from the Nemesis and is subject to the nemesis bonus.

As to other targets, no, Unity is not her bots, only Unity is the nemesis, same with Baron Blade and the Blade Battalion in his deck, Legacy does not get the nemesis bonus when attacking them.

Thanks for the response. I just reread the Nemsis section of the rules and was coming here to say I found the answer.

For your extra question the text is the key, if it says draw it is a draw, if not it is not.

Omnitron-X Time Shift is neither a draw or a play.  So if Bunker is in Turret Mode and can't draw or play cards, Omnitron-X can still put the top card of his deck into play.

It's a great combo.

To add to the Nemesis comments, another way to tell is to check for a Nemesis symbol - if one target attacks another target and both have the same symbol, the Nemesis bonus applies. Doesn't count for a target hitting itself, though. Also, note that it's not just villains who have Nemesis symbols - Anubis has Ra's symbol, and Rat Beasts have Chrono Ranger's. Finally, the Ennead all have Ra's symbol, and the Nemesis bonus will apply if something causes them to hit each other (eg someone redirecting their damage) - just because they're working together doesn't mean they like each other ;).

Yes, Anubis is nemesis with Ra, and also the entire Ennead, who are nemesis with Anubis, Ra and each other.  Thick as thieves huh?

That means Plague Rat and the rats from Final Wasteland are nemesis, as are the Chairman and Operative.

Also Young Legacy and Legacy if you have two decks and they deal each other damage. (or you know, any multiple version hero)

iron Legacy hates a lot of people, Voss, Spite, the entire villain cast of Vengence. . .

If you are going by solely who shares the nemesis symbol, then he only hates 4 out of the 5 villains in the Vengeful Five, as Iron Legacy doesn't have the same symbol as Baron Blade.

Probably because Blade was the first person that Iron Legacy killed.

That is right, I forgot he doesn't have the lantern symbol.

Kind of strange that he doesn't care about the Legacies or Baron Blade, as he probably never expects to see them alive until the timelines shatter.

One (hopefully) last question.

Wagnar Mars Base... Fire in the Biosphere: "...Deals each Target 2 fire damage. Each Hero must either destroy 1 of their Ongoing Cards or take 2 more Fire damage."

I assume if I have no Ongoing cards to destroy, I must take the additional damage?

Same rule would apply for any card that says "destroy/discard x cards or take x damage"?

I know that if the above situation said "discard your hand" and you have no cards in your hand you're safe, but what if it mentions a specific number of cards and you have none?

Thanks again...

If you are unable to discard or destroy the required card, you will take the punishment for not doing so. So if you had no ongoings for Fire in the Biosphere, you will take the additonal 2 damage.

Unless you're Ra and have Flesh of the Sun God out, in which case you can just laugh at it :). Even better if you've used Flesh's power - then everyone can laugh (except any villain and environment targets, who still have to take two points of fire damage…or three if Imbued Fire is out) :D.
