Freedom Six versus Iron Legacy, H=?

Going to try this thematic battle today, what should the value of H be?

Strictly by rules H=3,4,5.

For 2 hero game, H is still 3.

What about 6 hero game?

What do you use?

I've not played it, but my understanding of the rules says H=6.

"It always equals the number of heroes in the current game you are playing"  Pg 11 of the EE rulebook

The H=3 in a two player game is so the game is not too easy if you are playing with less than the recommended number of heroes, making H=6 in a six player game is not making things too easy, it's the other end of the spectrum.

Though Iron Legacy really doesn't need extra help, I would play with H=6, it just wouldn't feel right to me otherwise.

As a side note, an (H) emoticon for these forums would be awesome, or would that be difficult to implement?

I would say that the idea is genius, however considering who suggested it… I'm not so sure I can say that. Instead i'll say it's a neat idea.

The folks I usually play with don't play 6-hero games. Thematically, I get the interest in Freedom Six vs. Iron Legacy, but we don't enjoy having that many players in one game - we'd rather play two, 3-player games, instead. I'm sure that's just us, though.

I have to agree an (H) emoticon would be great, but personally I'd rather get a completely new set of emoticons, first, as the ones we have are about the worst I've ever seen.  I'd actually sent Joel a bunch of suggestions for improvements just after the migration, but now I can't find them (which is really annoying as I spent a couple hours compiling that list ).

While I resemble and represent this remark, I can think of exceptions – The Iron Legacy drinking game! Every time your hero takes 5+ points of damage, drink! Every time the environment would have hurt Iron Legacy, drink! Every time you look at the board and despair of any hope, drink!

I'd be on the floor by end of round 1…

By the way, I played H=6. I was awesome! Iron Legacy killed all the heroes by round 2.

Then we had a rematch and we killed Iron Legacy in round 2! :D
