Does the Judgement of Anubis end of turn effect still occur if Anubis is destoryed first?

I was playing Unity and I had two Bee Bots out when on the enviroment turn Judgement of Anubis was played and brought out of Anubis.  During the End of the Environment Turn, the Shamise mummy destoryed one of the Bee Bots.  I destoryed Anubis with the Bee Bot's destruction effect.  Does this prevent the Judgement of Anubis end of turn effect since it says Anubis deals every target 2 damage and destorys Judgement of Anubis?

It was resolved it as if Anubis was in play for expediency's sake but I think without the source (Anubis) the end of turn effect would not happen.

that's how I would play it aswell. Since Anubis is no longer in play he cannot deal damage.

Yeah, same here. It says on the Judgement card that Anubis deals damage and then destroys the card, therefore if he's already been destroyed by something he can't do either of those things and the card stays in play until someone else destroys it, or Anubis comes back out and carries out the actions.
