I was wondering. When a card says do damage to all hero characters. Does that include Unity's bots and Visionary's projections as well? Just wanted to know the official stnading.

The bots are hero targets. If something hits a hero targets, then it hits the bots. If it just says hero, then the bots do not get hit.

I don't think there's anything left that just hits heroes, right?  If it hits heroes, I think it hits hero targets since the Enhanced Edition.

I know that some Rook City cards still don't say "hero targets" consistently, but they're meant to be read that way.

I'm sure I've seen at least a couple cards since the release of Enhanced Edition which only hits heroes and not hero targets.  But I believe they have after effects which would only make sense if dealt to a hero and not to a hero target.

Yeah, there are plenty of things which only attack heroes and not hero targets.

I think there are some example in ST that specifies 'hero characters', though I can't remember which card.

I think the EE version of River of Lava and Primordial Plant Life from Insula Primalis only hit heroes not hero targets. Also the EE version of Fire in the Biosphere's second 2 damage only hits heroes.
