Kismet put the jinx on Unity.

Two left feet : when target hero play a card he deal himself 1 melee damage point.

Does Unity take damage when using her power to put a golem into play or the construction pylon to put 2 golem into play.

ie is putting a card into play the same as playing a card ?

No, putting a card into play gets around situations just like Two Left Feet. When you play a card you are putting it into play, but the reverse is not true. Putting a card into play is not the same as playing a card. They both give you the same end result, but get around some shenanigans like hero's cannot play cards.

I agree, but has this ever been officially confirmed?  I'd like to include it in my Clarifications doc if possible.

I'm certain it's been confirmed at some point, but I couldn't say where...

I just checked my Clarifications doc, and this bit about putting cards into play is already in there.  Guess it's getting to the point where I can't even keep track of the contents of my own doc.  I don't have a citation for where it was confirmed because I was lazy like that back in the day, but the fact that it's in there means that it was officially confirmed at some point.
