I just feel like a bully right now... I played against apostate and we kicked his winged bottom so much i feel sorry for him. I wonder if we played rules wrong or we did find a way to make him pathethic. The key to beating him was - savage mana. Is cards under this card considered trash or not? If there is a card that said - move X villain relics card from trash into play but if all relics are under savage mana that means that nothing is happening? If that is what happening according to the rules ... haka toke all toys from him , then used punish the weak and his own toys to completely destroy him - ouch!.

Second question - how haka of battle works if its played before rampage and there is seven cards discarded?

answer a - haka deals all non hero targets 5+7 damage and all heroes 2+7

answer b - haka deals one non hero target 5+7 damage rest of non hero targets 5 damage and all heroes 2 damage

answer c - haka deals all non hero targets 5+7 damage and heroes 2 melee damage

The only thing that can remove the cards from beneath Savage Mana is the power itself or if Savage Mana is destroyed and the answer to the second question is B, only the first target takes the extra damage from Haka of Battle.

Agreed.

And don't feel too bad about beating Apostate that badly. Savage Mana can do that to villains, but you don't always have Savage Mana available to you.

Also agreed.

And the Apostate/Savage Mana thing swings both ways, on a really good Rampage Haka could be putting Hero Targets under his Savage Mana (Particularly bad with Imbued Vitality in play!).
