Hi,

this combo is devastating, but I am unsure of the amount of damage I can redirect in a 3 players game.

Is it :

A- 15 +15 +15

or

B- 15 + 12+ 9

?

B. As Wrest damages the EPE, it reduces the current Hp and its damage=its current hp. Of course, this also does 9 damage to Visionary, so I often see it being redirected bck to the EPE for a hero saving turn at only 3 HP damage.

Or a turn of completely brutalizing Omnitron. 9 damage isn't much of a price for that.

We did it on Omnitron, followed next turn by Tachyon dual strike at 19+19... it was quite messy.

We go for the A solution because the card text say to deal "deal each hero target X damage", so we thought the damage to be calculated at before being applied to each hero individually, and as redirection doesnt recalculate the original damage...

The timing interraction is the most complicated part of this game. And is not always consistent with other card games ruling, wich is most infortunate.

Personally, I play it as B.

It should be B, I think, but now that I think about it I can see an argument for A as well.

The Visionary deals 3 damage to herself and the target WtM is attached to after dealing damage.  That is resolved before the next instance of damage.  B is correct.

Also, this is how one member of our Sentinels group showed us the value of The Visionary in one turn of rampant destruction directed at Omnitron by his own Device.

Yep, re-reading the FAQ I see that it is B.

Nightmist with her Amulet of the Elder Gods versus the Elecro-Pulse thingy is a pretty good combo too >:).
