Can a hero target themselves with a card or power if it is not an ability like absolute zero’s where it says “deals himself” ?
This question came up last night where a friend playing absolute zero wanted to target himself with a card worded “1 target” and not “deals himself.”
If absolute zero can chose to target himself then I would assume anyone could target themselves…
Absolutely you can.
As a caveat, some cards (especially in Absolute Zero's deck) specify a non-hero target. For those cards he cannot target himself. However something that just says one target means any card with HP.
You can also hit other Heroes. I know personally, I've hit AZ with Scherzo of Frost and Flame while playing the Adept before. >.>
Yeah, with coolant blast, having an entire team hitting AZ for fire damage (which he redistributes, enhances, and heals from) can be a pretty brutal combination.
