I am new to the game.
If Omnitron brings in a drone at the end fo the turn, and the drone says
that it acts at the end of the turn, does it get to act then or have to wait?

Yes, it does get to act. You're still in the 'end of turn' phase, so the drone activates.
This question might be a good candidate for adding to the (underutilized) FAQ on the main page. It gets asked a lot, can be legitimately confusing to new players, and has a clear answer.
It is, by far, the most commonly asked that I've encountered.
