Subzero Atmosphere and Spite

So we had an odd occurrence in tonight’s game, Spite had PL531 and Demon’s Kiss in play (in that order) and Absolute Zero had Subzero Atmosphere in play. Demon’s Kiss did it’s damage at the start of the turn because of SZA and then PL531 returned ongoing/equipment cards to their owner’s hand, SZA had to be one of the two… does this mean that all the end of turn effects happen (again) at the end of the turn that now that the effects of SZA are no longer ongoing or do the villain cards follow the same concept as hero powers and only using each instance of a power once per turn?

Also as a 4 hero game the first villain card drawn was the PL531 drug (makes you take back equip/ongoing) looked to be a pretty horrible start. A few turns in Tachyon was able to play HUD goggles and Pushing the Limit, pretty much eliminating the effects of that card (and benefiting Tachyon immensely)!

I’m pretty sure since the card has already made its action for the round it cannot act again. Much like Heroes using a power, can only be done once per turn.

huh. I’m kind of of the opionion that all the effects would happen again.

I’m going to say whichever interpretation that makes the game harder is correct. So, I say yes, the effects happen again at the End of Turn.

I think Ronway is correct, but I’m not 100% sure on that.

Actually, in this case, the card would act again (since there is nothing changing it to acting at the beginning of the villain turn, and there is no rule about cards only acting once).

Oh my, now that would be a scary event. Note to self do not play Subzero Atmosphere against Spite.
