Is playing a card from the top of your deck considered as playing a card? Simpler question, if Visionary is in her cacoon (or Bunker is in one of his modes), can Atlanian Font of Power still allow her to play the top card of her deck?

Another slightly related question, does the word “you” have any meaning? One angle a friend of mine was trying to take was Telepathic Cacoon states “You cannot play cards,” where Atlantian Font of Power says “Play the top card of the Hero decks.” Basically, he’s trying to take the argument that he himself is not able to make the descision of playing a card, but that the Atlantian Font of Power is the one choosing to play the Hero card, not him.

There is a difference, and yes, “you” does matter! In this case, Atlantean Font of Power is playing the card, not “you”, so the card still comes into play even if you are inside a Telekinetic Cocoon or are in Turret Mode.

That explains the second question. Still curious about the first. I would guess that since it says “Play the card” even though it doesn’t go through the hero player definition of playing a card from the hand,it still considered playing a card.
