Discard clarification

Suppose a card, such as Citizen Dawn’s Blinding Blast, says each Hero must discard two cards. If a player is holding only one card, does he discard that one and also the top card from the draw pile?

Nope! You just discard the one from hand and the other card you’re being forced to discard is just 404’d.

Can’t say I’ve seen the HTTP 404 response code used like that before.

I actually do that a fair deal. I think I picked it up from Strong Bad, truth be told.

Hmm… I know who Strong Bad is; however, the only one I’ve seen is when he is reading email and he draws himself as an anime, or something like that.
