So I use Resolute, give Santa Guise a power, he flips the cards in my play area.

This order occurs:

Prayer of Desperation->Smite the Transgressor.

So it is Fanatic's turn, during the middle of Resolute (still have top card to play) My turn ends and I get to use a power.  I use Resolute to let Santa Guise flip another hero's cards.

This is all legal right?  They would flip all their cards, I would continue to flip my cards, and then when that is done I would play the top 2 cards of my deck.

I should be able to use both powers a second time because it is no longer the same turn.

Prayer of Desperation moves you to the end of turn phase. It is still part of the same turn, you will not be able to use the same power.

Edit: While the above example cannot be used in the video game, there are similar things that an be achieved.

The method I used requires:

  1. The Scholar
  2. The Argent Adept
  3. Musarangi's Harp
  4. Inspiring Supertonic
  5. Alacritous Subdominant
  6. Proverbs and Axioms
  7. Know When to Hold Fast

First off, you want to get every one of The Argent Adept's cards that are listed above into play. Next you want The Scholar to play Proverbs and Axioms on The Scholar's turn. The Scholar must choose to take the 3 damage and use a power before The Argent Adept. After The Scholar has used his power, then The Argent Adept must take the 3 damage and use a power. The Argent Adept will want to use Musarangi's Harp to activate the Perform text of Alacritous Subdominat. Once Alacritous Subdominant is used, have The Scholar play Know When to Hold Fast. The Accompany of the Musarangi's Harp is used to activate Alacritous Sundominant. Now Vocalize to do the Perform of Inspiring Supertonic, if the only power that The Scholar had access to was the power he used with Proverbs and Axioms, his name will not be visible. If he has another power, then you can click his name and see the power he had previously used is no longer selectable.

When you're "opening your presents" from Santa Guise, do you "unwrap" them all at once and then decide the order of which you want them to enter play, or do you flip them one at a time (either in the order they were put there or the order of your choice)? I'm guessing it's the first one because there's nothing to say they have to be done in a certain order and therefore falls under the "simultaneous actions" rule wherein players can decide.

You choose the order of cards to flip but you don't know in advance what they are.  So you flip one card, resolve it, flip the next one of your choice, and so on

Ahh okay, I was thinking in my head that Guise's "unwrap your prezzies" power said something like "flip all the cards in front of a hero..." implying that it happened all at once or something. I haven't actually played him since I got him so it's not come up fo me yet ;).

Even if it said "All" you still wouldn't do it all at the same time, simultaneous not being a thing in Sentinels and all.

Thanks for checking that Ronway.

I guess the turn changes at the Start of turn phase.  Good to know.

Bah! That was boring...

Note to self, wait until someone decides to argue that I am wrong before checking The Video Game.
