Did you know that End of Days will destroy cards underneath the Dreamer?

So, if you've got eight cards underneath her already, you shouldn't have all the other heroes smugly do nothing while you wait for End of Days to finish off all the projections in play and win the game for you.

Wow, that makes sense, and closes one of the easiest ways to beat Dreamer.  I like it.

That means it should affect cards under La Capitan as well or Savage Mana.

My resulting question is whether Cedistic Dissonant can also destroy cards under La Capitan. Given this, I'd guess yes.

I guess I never thought of using the cards like that, but yeah, it toally make sense. Anything that doesn't specidy key words and just decks can still be destroyed from under other cards or if face down. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for that.

I'd never considered that. I suppose it's never come up for me, but still...

In the case of Savage Mana you'd lose all the cards under it anyway, since Savage Mana itself would be destroyed.

On the other hand if they are environment targets then Haka can still get the effect of dominion from destroying them again. (Or Bunker with Ammo Drop and villain targets)

No, because they are untyped cards while facedown. That's all that matters. They would be villain CARDS, though, which is what actually matters. So still yes, actually.

Same with Dominion, neither specifies but since everything under Savage Mana was a target at some point…

I suppose it makes sense -- the menu when using Environment destruction includes cards under Savage Mana or the Countdown pile.

Huh...this would make Fanatic good against Mad Bomber Blade, too, wouldn't it? End of Days would reset his damage on his front side by destroying all the cards under him.

Edit: Nevermind, just checked and all the cards under him are considered indestructible.

As Ronway pointed out when discussing incapacitated Santa Guise's ability to flip face down cards, most cards like Savage Mana and La Capitan never specify that the cards are put there facedown.

Since cards under other cards have no text, this means they have no hp either (as this is considered part of the text), therefore aren't targets. So anythign that acts on a target being destroyed when Savage Mana goes off wouldn't do so, but anything that acts on a card being destroyed would do.

Except the win condition on the Dreamer is at any time, right? So you can destroy Projections first, and win the game before End of Days proceeds to destroy the cards under the Dreamer. This just wouldn't work if you haven't reached the destruction target yet.

Sadly, The Dreamer checks to see if you have won at the Start of her turn.

Yeah. If you’re still looking to make it work, though, there’s the End of Days/Bee Bot combo!
