Infernal Relics is now available on Steam and Android, so the Fireside Chats thread has been duly updated. General discussion, commence!

One Infinite loop closed for sure now with the rewording of Relic Spirit.  Also, a weird interaction I found is in the fireside chat about Into the Stratopshere.  I also caused Apostate to get reworded as well unfortunately for his flip conditions with my Sucker Punching and Wrathful Gazing.

> One-shots are not considered or counted as “cards in play.”

Well that changes Kismet slightly... as in one card changes to deal one less damage.

Sad about the Apostate change (it was so great thematically imagine him gloating amongst this impressive group of his relic and Tachyon just knocking him out)

You can still Sucker Punch him on the other side.

Which is honestly better.  I have never flipped Apostate, I either clear the relics or destroy him, I play him quite a bit too.

OH same here, I just like the option.  It's generally pretty easy to clear the relics

The Ennead instructions card does not count as a villain card or as a card in play. It is nothing, but does things.

I’m not sure it matters for many situations, but is that statement also true for other villain instructions cards, the Sentinels instructions card, the various special things in Kaargra Warfang’s deck, and so on?

I don't know. We only talked about the Ennead card.

The special cards on Kaarga Warfang's deck have special text about that right on them, though.

What order does Brain Burn put cards on the bottom of decks?

The last 3 posts on that page clarify that the Sentinels Set-up card is an in play card.

I had always assumed the Ennead set-up card was a villain card in play, like other set-up cards. Why is there a specific ruling for this one, if I may?

Because if it is, there are weird interactions. Can Cedistic Dissonant destroy it? If it's a character card, does it deal damage? How does that even make sense?

We asked Christopher, and he said what is written there.

Most villain instructions cards do not exist in the digital version. They are just part of the main character card. But the Ennead don't have one, and that instructions card needs to be there for the player to read, so it must exist in some way in the UI.

What a weird intersection of the physical and digital realms this is!
