So I have a quick question, with the new adamant Sentinels promo, will they be interchangable (i.e. regular Ideals with Adamant Medico etc. etc) or will they only be playable as a set?

You can mix and match as you like, but it has been suggested that they will work better as all-original or all-promo.
Thanks Sqrl!
they were designed as a team, but balanced to be interchanged for the most part.
For the most part, I'd keep the original Sentinels. The only two I'd be tempted to switch out are Medico and Writhe.
I really like the new Mainstay and Idealist, I prefer old Medico myself, and hp is the main reason I'd use the new Writhe, for his signature, but he also crushes some enemies with that power, Dawn, Omnitron, Blade, La Capitan, it is an awesome ability to have in the arsenal.
Where are people seeing the new promos?
Really? I would much rather have the old mainstay, because it gives them all much needed DR. I mean, sure you can nerf a villian target's damage, and that could count as DR, but that onle protects you from one target. You'll still be more vulnerable to the environment, and any other villian targets that you didn't hit.
I prefer old Mainstay as well. I guess the new one could be useful if you really need to break through DR, but this seems like a rare situation. It seems like the new Sentinels would be good against villains who deal a lot of their damage personally. Medico trades out general-purpose healing for Sentinels healing and a card draw abilty. New Writhe seems more situational. He's really good against certain villains, but against others he's mostly useless where old Writhe is still useful.
This looks like a really well-designed promo to me. It doesn't seem way more or less powerful than the original, just different. There are some situations where I'd prefer the new Sentinels, and others where I'd prefer the old versions.
I use Writhe more than Block for survival, and AoE attackers you can Thump.
I also don't stress incaps much on their team, keeping Medico up isn't too hard, and thump has better overall effect than block.
People limit themselves by thinking they need to keep block up anyway, use your revives.
Now you're playing with Ronways.
I rarely see a hero Incap in a win, but I keep Fanatic rolling for a long time at low HP, nothing beats the feeling of playing recklessly and finding ways to stay alive. The Sentinels are one hero that really rewards that playstyle.
And by reckless I mean achieving offensive goals with no regard to your own safety.
I frequently see hero incaps in a win!
