Cards under other cards

I'm going to assume that the part where he says "those cards are in play but they did not enter play (because of magic)" means that the act of moving a card under another one doesn't constitute entering play, so if you take cards from your deck and move them directly under another card, they never entered play to get there.  However, cards which are moved under another card from play, naturally entered play in the first place (they just didn't do it again when they moved under the other card).

However, the last sentence isn't clear enough for me to put in the FAQ.  The cards under another card count for whom when considering "most cards in play"?  Since the cards under another card retain their type (hero, villain, enviro) and which deck they came from, it's not clear to me if a Unity card under a Haka card counts as a card in play for Haka or for Unity.

I believe he commented later in the thread that the cards still count as cards from the deck that they came from, so one of Unity's bots under savage mana counts as a card for Unity, and a T-Rex from Insula Primalis is still an environment card (so can be hit by stuff that destroys environment cards).
