We ran into an interesting dilemma today. My wife was playing Guise, and chose to mimic one of KNYFE's equipment cards. She wanted to use the power on the card, which has an effect of "destroy this card".
In a situation like this, does Guise destroy his own mimic card? Or does he destroy the card he's mimicking?
He is destroying the equipment card he took with Lemme See That... and his ongoing card does nothing anymore.
If you copy battlefield Experience and KNYFE uses the power, KNYFE's card resolves and leaves play at which point the text leaves Guise's card, as that text is no longer on an ongoing card in Guise's play area.
If Guise uses it he will destroy the card that the text is on; Uh, Yeah, I'm that Guy.
If you borrow an Equipment card that destroys itself on a power use KNYFE can't use that power, as the card is no longer in her play area. If Guise uses that power the equipment card will be destroyed, and Lemme see that stays in play uselessly until it is destroyed.
