Parse plays Syntactic Analysis, targeting herself and revealing two Recompiles, which she wants to play.  She plays the first one to draw 6 cards.  Does the second one get drawn, or has it left the deck already?

I would say that it's left the deck as you have to determine what action to take on the second Recompile

Ah, the old "is a revealed card still in the deck" issue...

To my knowledge, we don't have an official answer on this. I know there has been debates on other areas around if revealed cards area actually still in the deck or not, but I don't think there has ever been a consensus.

And... that none of that helps you. Except to let you know you aren't the only one who is wondering about this kind of thing. ![](upload://nchIGjrCD2ydeKFOxqHOVH9DOiO.gif)

Do whatever seems most reasonable to you. I would say it is isolated from the deck, and therefore would not get drawn.

I would certainly say it leaves the deck, and it would form a stack of actions. That's how I would do it. So similarly how you would resolve multiple villian plays in order, you would move from one recompile to another in order, without keeping them in the deck. I'd just move both to the same play area as one-shots.

I think a revealed card is one that has left the deck but not landed anywhere else yet. It doesn't have a location. It's not in a deck. It's not  in play. It's not in a hand. It's not in a trash. It is still in the game.

I guess the question would become: do you decide what to do with the second card after playing the first? I suppose in any case, as long as it's not in the deck, it shouldn't affect the second Recompile. It would just be nice to know when cards enter and exit "limbo."

I infer, from some things the devs have mentioned in response to my bug reports, that "revealed" is treated as a distinct location in the App, and a card that is there is not in the deck or anywhere else.

You know, we can test this with the app and SSTachyon, what happens when one of the two cards is Quick Insight and there are only 1 or 2 cards in the deck including the 2 being Experimented on?

Get right on that people!

AlexxKay is correct. In the digital version those cards would be in Parse's Revealed location, which is just another location like Deck, Trash, Hand, or InPlay.

(Because I am clearly insane) I have actually tested this.  The revealed cards are not draw-able while they are still in the "revealed" state.

Not insane, just dedicated! Thanks for testing this.
