Are hero character cards still considered character cards when they flip?

We were going against Progeny with a group that included Skyscraper. Progeny was on his side where he targets the hero character card with the lowest hp. Skyscraper had been knocked out in her huge form. One of the available powers is that she counts as a indestructable 1 hp target til the start of the next turn. Does skyscraper still count as a character card in this situation and take the brunt of Progenys assault or should we have targeted one of the non-incapacitated heroes instead?

Yes she is still a character card and will take the damage from Progeny.

From the sounds of it, that's exactly what that ability is for - to soak up any hits aimed at the lowest hp target so no-one else has to take 'em :).

Yeah, I imagined the other heroes hiding behind her huge body as she's lying unconcious on the battlefield...
