How do you use the second ability on "predator's eye" card. The way i read it is that if you can only draw 2 cards and if X= 3 minus the nuber of cards draw you will always do -1 damage. Help! what am I missing?
3-2 = 1, not -1
You may draw up to 2 cards, but you do not have to draw any cards if you wish. So X can be as high as 3 and as low as 1 depending on how many you wish to draw.
You can draw up to two cards. Then, you will deal 3 damage, but subtract 1 for each card drawn:
0 cards drawn-3 damage
1 card drawn-2 damage
2 cards drawn-1 damage

Plus the inherent +1 damage for being a Crocodoc, and the +1 it grants itself, of course, so in reality it does something like 3 damage and 2 card draws, 4 damage and 1 card draw, or just 5 damage. A pretty respectable one-shot, either way.
