Hi All.
New forum member here, and recent initiate to this wonderful game.
First off, I am sorry if this has been asked already, but a search of the forums and google didn't turn anything up.
During a recent game, an interesting question came up.
K.N.Y.F.E.'s Flawless Execution
1) Does this card work on Villain character cards? (One would assume, but it seems the one card that does not exclude it)
2) If it does work on Villain character cards, does it prevent Apostate from flipping?
Thanks for the help.

Yup, it's cool when you can get around someone's flip mechanics like that - cards like Sucker Punch and Wrathful Gaze work as well (but not on Baron Blade, since he flips when he "would be destroyed" rather than when he's "reduced to 0hp or fewer" :P).
If an effect doesn't work on character cards (or anything else specific), it'll say so on the card itself (except in cases where you're using the un-errata'd versin of cards such as Chastise). Otherwise, go for it ;).

It also works on hero targets! Which can be really bad, if you end up playing a card out of turn that damages everyone.
Set once caused KNYFE to flawlessly execute herself, for The Greater Good.

Do flawlessly executed heros (and Ennead villians, for that matter) still flip to their incap side? I can never remember.

I think so, yeah - you try to destroy them using whatever attack you're using (Flawless Execution, Sucker Punch, etc), and then their own text of "when this card would be destroyed..." kicks in and you instead flip them. The Unforgiving Wasteland gets around even flip mechanics, however, so stuff killed by the environment (heroes or anything else) when that card is out are fully removed and not just flipped.

So, how will Flawless Execution work with this?

I'd say that K.N.Y.F.E. would get the title, since she first dealt damage to a target then a different effect destroyed it without reducing its HP to 0

The easiest way to earn Death Caller is with environment destruction.
Although we house-ruled it that environment destruction is impersonal so it doesn't count as a target doing it, mostly so Death Caller would be a little harder to get.
