I posted a few weeks ago about a laugher I had against Advanced Baron Blade, so it's only fair to post that Advanced Voss beat the snot out of me yesterday:
Advanced Voss vs. Haka, AZ, and Visionary in Megalopolis.
The game was uneventful until I ended up accidentally locking down Voss. Haka had Savage Mana out with every minion that had come out to that point under it. He also had the TCF Conquerer under Savage Mana thanks to Twist the Ether. Voss also had TtE on him, so I had him dealing Cold damage to AZ (highest HP) every turn and Visionary was at one HP, but in a Telekinetic Coccoon. Also, Rooftop Combat was in play and I was carefully avoiding doing more than 10 damage to Voss in a round to keep the environment in check while I ate every single target in Voss' deck. Then Voss turned the tables.
Haka was at about 5 HP and I thought all Voss had left in his deck was the TCF Stalwart and a bunch of Forced Deployments. I had left two Quark-Drive Translocators in play because I was confident the deck was minion free. At the start of Voss' turn (Sub-Zero Atmosphere was out) he played a Genebound Frost Hound that I had lost track of. Each QDT caused him to play another card: TCF Stalwart and Forced Deployment. Since it was still the start of turn, the GFH hit him for 2 and the Stalwart hit him for 3. Just enough damage to kill him, so every minion I had so painstakingly collected ends up in the trash seconds before Forced Deployment goes off. AND it's still the start of the turn, so they all get to act. AZ and Visionary managed to survive this ridiculous onslaught and AZ was even able to clear the board with a Fueled Freeze that I burned two hero ongoings for, but at this point there was no chance of surviving and Voss and his minions eventually overran the heroes. Sorry Megalopolis.
