Okay, so, the dice pulled up a team of Expatriette, Visionary, and Unity against Skinwalker Gloomweaver in the Time Cataclysm. For those of you who don’t know, when Skinwalker Gloomweaver flips, and the start of his turn he does H–in this case, 3–damage to every target.
Now, follow me on this, because it gets a bit complicated.
Gloomweaver flips because Unity is putting out ridiculous amounts of damage. The environment turn comes up, and Gloomweaver gets hit by Tendrils of Madness, increasing all his damage by one. He’s already under the effects of Visionary’s Twist the Ether, and Visionary is encased in a Telekinetic Cocoon.
Unity has eight golems on the playing field. With that, the environment target, the three heroes, an impotent voodoo pin attached to the Visionary, and Gloomweaver himself, Gloomweaver inflicts fourteen instances of four damage, increased to five each by Twist the Ether, and Visionary redirects each and every one of them back to Gloomweaver, so he inflicts seventy points of damage to himself. The Visionary takes no retributory damage from any of this because she’s immune to damage, what with her Telekinetic Cocoon.
Did I just stumble onto the perfect scenario against Skinwalker Gloomweaver, or am I missing something obvious?
