Apologies if this has been answered already, but will people who preordered Wrath of the Cosmos be receiving oversized villain character cards for the Wrath of the Cosmos villains and Wager Master?

I believe they've said they're going to just do oversized villain card sets, so the WotC villains and Wager Master will be available in a set GTG will release later with all those others that haven't been provided, yet.

That was my understanding, anyway - could be wrong.

Personally, I think this approach makes the most sense. There were problems with folks getting a couple here and there but not getting all of them, then the only way they could was to buy the later set, resulting in a lot of (perceived) wasted money / cards. This is a much cleaner, easier way of handling it - even if it means I don't get my oversized cards as soon as I want…

You could make your own oversized cards, like I do... :)

Tangent - Spiff, any chance you'd do non-oversized versions of the Vengeful 5?  I see that your .zip file for that expansion has the small HP trackers, but I didn't see a deck-sized Villain Character & Setup card.  I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't actually like the oversized villain cards - I really prefer the smaller versions that just fit the deck.  Based on an old thread the search tool returned, GtG themselves have no plans to do deck-sized V5 villain cards, so I figured I'd ask if you'd be willing.

I'm actually in the same boat as edge DS as I like to sleeve my cards and haven't found a good way to sleeve the oversized cards.

These have worked great for me…

Really, you want smaller versions of those?  I guess you'd just print them and put them in sleeves?

I'd be interested in regular-sized Vengeance villain cards too.

They are the only oversized cards I have, and it bugs me more than I care to admit that my villain cards aren't all the same size. I don't want to buy the oversized pack because of the errors (and let's face it, they are expensive over here in the UK for something that doesn't actually add anything to the game).

I can almost certainly find 10 spaces in my next Printer's Studio order for the cards.

Well, it's not high on my to-do list, but sure, I can add it to the list.

I prefer the smaller versions, yeah.  The oversized cards take up marginally more space than a character + setup card, they don't match anything else on the table, they're not any easier for me to read, and they're a bit more difficult to pick up to look at when I do need to read the relevant text (e.g. I can't just pick up the setup/abilities card and leave the character card alone with the HP tokens on it.)  Nothing that's really serious, which is why this is just a "would be nice to have" request.

Thanks!

It's been so long since I fought the Vengeance Five (we haven't been avoiding them or anything, they just haven't come up) I'd forgotten they had larger villain cards, lol. I think I prefer smaller cards, they take up less table space ;).

…and so began the Spiff/Ronway War.
