I've been experimenting with Super-Scientific Tachyon and have found a team for her that I really like.

Chrono-Ranger

Dark Visionary

Nightmist

Super-Scientific Tachyon

Depending on their current cards, Chrono-Ranger, Nightmist and Tachyon take turns at being the heavy hitter, Dark Visionary does her usual job of support and helping dodge dangerous cards, but combined with SS Tachyon, now the team has the ability to drop those cards into the discard deck. If Nightmist gets Astral Premonition out, a guaranteed two card discard can be set up in one turn. Conversely, the could conspire to set up powerful two card combos for heroes.

Nightmist plays tank for the team and Chrono-Ranger, Dark Visionary and SS Tachyon all have cards to help deal with ongoing and environmental threats.

The team has weaknesses. They require a little time to build up to function well, so villains and environments that screw with that will hinder them. Although with Dark Visionary's built in deck control, it hopefully won't get out of hand. Also, while nightmist can heal herself, there are only touches of healing through the other character's decks and not terribly high starting hit points, so if a hero gets hit hard, they may begin a spiral downward, especially if there is something targeting lowest hit points.

Have you tried SST with O-X? Talk about some quick setup with lot of versatility.

DW Nightmist and SST is insane, I had the card that heals when you play a spell and got several double spell plays from Tachyon.  The results of DW Nightmist and Tachyon were awesome, some planning, and a lot of random.  It was pretty great.

I do have a question about her power.  If she uses it on an environment deck and both cards have no keyword they would both be discarded right?

Master of Magic doesn't combo with Super Science Tachyon, SST puts them into play, MoM triggers on you playing a card. I found the same thing with my mom when I was younger too, whenever I sat down to play a card game it would trigger the "have you cleaned your room?" shout.

As long as you're not worried about hitting a target you shouldn't (like, say, the Dreamer) the Sentinels and their multitude of one-shots works pretty well with SST.
