Just wondering if "Into the Stratosphere" would be considered destroying a card, or is it just placing a card?

If you’re asking about indestructible effects, into the stratosphere won’t work. But if you’re talking about on destruction effects, ie ammo drop or infections, it won’t trigger

Mainly, I was thinking of Kismet's "Lady Luck" card.  And Yes, Plague Rat's "Infections" also.

What Humble-Knight said; it's not destroying a card, it's removing it from play. The 'Indestructible' keyword has a clause stating they cannot be removed from play, but on-destruction effects don't activate.

I now have the wonderful mental image of Tempest going around slapping the Infection  out of his teammates and  up into the Stratosphere.

"I don't care if you are foaming at the mouth, you try to touch me again and I'll slap that infection right out of you!"

You should have seen the Plague Rat game set in the Realm of Discord where we were throwing the infections back in his face with Final Dive, it was awesome to behold!
