Reaper Bone line and Primer

Hi all.  While browsing the forum someone mention that the Tactics minis are made from the same material as Reaper's Bone line.  Bone Minis does not need to be prime so I was wonder if this would apply to the Tactics minis as well.  I've seen a lot of topics about priming Tactics so I was wondering if something about them are difference from Bone or people did not realize this fact.
