Well to start things off we were at Metropolis, it was me and my fiance 3rd game ever, I played Haka and Legacy, she played Wraith and Visionary our villian was Citizen Dawn, spent a few turns chipping away the minions that spawned, decided about turn 2 might be a good idea to flip citizen dawn, (based on baron) end up making her flip, “citizen dawn is immune to damage while on this side”, look at fiance “oh s***” continue playing game train comes out for metropolis, citizen dawn gets about 6 citizens a turn, flips to receive damage every other turn. Make strategy to just deal all damage to her till one side breaks. End result citizen dawn 1 hp due to legacy being koed and loses buffs for damage…all our heroes are koed in 1 turn. We may have lost but holy crap that was a good game. Teaching best friend of 17 years how to play soon.

Sounds like a great game !
So you know for next time, Citizen Dawn only flips to her immune side once per game. Once she flips back, no more flips.

Two of my first nine games were against Dawn, and both were immensely memorable. She's still one of my favorite villains, and I'm eager to play her again as soon as I finish the current "fight all the bastards I've been avoiding until now" series.

I can't say I enjoy fighting her -- Blood, Sweat, and Tears in particular live up to their names quite aptly -- but she is a wonderfully thematic and just COOL villain. Same with Miss Information.

I've never had all three get out at once. I usually let one sit at low priority until the second comes out, then I kill them.

We once had Sweat and Tears as our starting line-up - having to discard half our starting hands before any of us had even had a turn, we were never really able to get started because we kept having to throw our stuff away before we could play it.
Another time we started with Truth and Anvil out...but actually we did pretty well. I can't remember whether we won, but if we didn't, it was close.

Yeah…we had a game start like that, and her first card was Blinding Blast. There was much crying and bemoaning and discussion about a tactical retreat, but if I remember correctly, we actually pulled that one out.

I also had a game with those two in my starting line up, but luckily two of my starting heroes were Young Legacy and Normal Haka so I only had to lose the first two cards. (I got quite lucky with that game, Dawn kept drawing her good cards at time when they wouldn't help much anyway like getting healing light as her very first card)

Worst game with Dawn happened at the Pike Industrial Complex. Truth and Anvil were both out with a Return from the Dawn, and a Biometric Plasma Vat was in play. Everyone other than Truth was immune to damage, and Truth had a DR of 3, and even if we could kill him, he would just get brought back from Return with the Dawn. We lost that game pretty hard.

You know what? You had a great game experience! That is what matters most :)
I usually randomise, but this thread is making me want to choose Citizen Dawn for my next game.

We enjoy thematic silliness, like playing the Dark Watch with Dark Visionary, going up against Dawn (because, ya know, not dark)...

I enjoy games where Ra is fighting Dawn - I always imagine them bickering about WHO has the power of the sun...

I have a new goal. Play a game with Ra vs Dawn, bring her down to 2 hp, flip her, and then kill her with Wrathful Gaze while Dawn is Merged with the Sun.

By the same token, Golem Unity vs. Omnitron for the future of machinekind…
(It bothers me significantly that Omnitron's components are not Equipment cards, because villains aren't allowed to have Equipment. If Omnitron-X can Self-Sabotage his past self's Components, why can't he also Singularity them? Why can't normal Unity Bot-Fix them, when she can do it to the Staff of Ra or similar Relics? It makes perfect mechanical sense, it just bugs me on a flavor level.)
