i dont know if there is any information or if im completely off base, but who is guise any thoughts on powers or anything about guisei m just qurious

Not much is known about Guise at the moment. We know its a hero. Thats about it.

Guise is probably an offshot of Disguise which lends some clues as to potential its potential powerset/niche. Someone thats good at hiding or blending in, or turning itself into other things/people are all fair game.

We also see the Nemesis icon. It looks childish in a way, a crude crayon drawn face with its tounge sticking out. We could either be dealing with a young kid, or just a character that is a goofball in nautre. Possible prankster.

It is? Awesome! I guess that all unknown characters to this point are actually Guise in one of their many disguises, especially Hippopocalypse.

I'm hoping for a metamorph prankster character.

I designed one myself as a custom hero, but I would love to see how the official folks would do one.

I do know that Guise has not appeared in the game thus far, according to Christopher at Gathering of Heroes 2014. So... Not much else we can do with that.

I'm guessing maybe a Plastic Man analogue?

A Plastic Man style caracter would be awesome, I agree. But we’d need more info before we can really speculate anything provable.

Crazy theory: Guise can turn invisible.

It could explain why he hadn't "appeared" in the game yet...

Also, we don't have a character with such a power, villain or heroes...

And, it could fit the silly hero icon/prankster archetype

I think I still prefer the metamorph theory, but still...

Possible, but the name fits better with a shapeshifter/disguise theme than a invisibility theme

If all his cards had him invisible and you never even saw so much as an outline of Guise he would immediately be my favorite hero.

I don't know if the "has not yet appeared in the art" includes Vengeance or not, but I keep wondering who/what can be these silvery silhouettes on the Baron incap side. After all there are only other heroes here... Guise ? Captain Cosmic's theoretical energy constructs ? Something else we haven't seen yet ? Something I missed ? The portrait of a kickstarter backer who happens to be human-shaped energy ?

Yeah I thought about Ambuscade right after posting this message… Although I feel that "being able to turn invisible" is not exactly what defines Ambuscade the best. He's more of a strong dude, armed with a load of weapons and gadgets and traps… and a cloaking device.

Well… we still don't have a hero who can turn invisible… right?
