Has there been any update on Sentinel Tactics? I read they expected it to Kickstarter in Dec '13 and ship early '14. Very curious and excited to hear any news about it.

I have no idea where you heard that info, and it might well have been "accurate" at the time, but I can promise it's not now (seeing as Dec '13 is over). Vengeance launches Feb 1, and GSF isn't until May (according to its most recent update). Now, during the printing of GSF and after distribution of Vengeance (probably most of Feb) they might have a little lull before GSF actually arrives, so MAYBE the KS then, but that's just a guess.
Fist quarter of '14, was the only estimate I ever heard...
Yeah, we never intended to Kickstart it any earlier than early '14.
It will go to Kickstarter this year.
Any chance of seeing it at PAX?
And any chance of Playtesting being on the kickstarter?
i believe i saw mentioned somewhere they wont be kickstarting products until they are pretty much done playtesting them anymore, so as not to have long delays on finishing the kickstarter and shipping.
That kindof makes the playtesting access a useless kickstarter extra... and almost false advertising if someone joins at the time of a particular game being discussed as they wont be able to playtest the very game that they joined to do so.
Surely you want the people who are enthusiastic about a particular game to be able to try that particular game and tell people about how awesome it is to generate buzz before it goes on sale.
That didn't happen anyways. For the others, you came in close to the end. You weren't really onboard until the next game came out. GSF was a little different, because has taken a long time.
Plus I am sure having access to the game before everyone will else will still make you talk about it and generate buzz, whether the game is 50% done or 90% done.
There is a greater chance that Tactics will be demoable (in non-production form) at PAX than there is that we will offer Playtester access as part of a future Kickstarter, for, among other reasons, the issue that Matchstickman brought up: getting Playtester access on a Kickstarter does not allow you much time to playtest that particular game. Now, Playtesting is for life unless you do something dumb and get kicked out, so it is still a worthwhile thing if you are interested, but we find it better to have that be separate should we ever chose to offer it again.
Please please please offer playtester-ness again!
If you don't, my birthday present from my boyfriend will be negated, since he offered to pay for my playtester status once it's available.
And then I'll cry.
On the latest episode of Boardroomers last night Christopher confirmed Sentinels Tactics will be up on Kickstarter on Tuesday!! And showed some of the minis too (very close to the end):

Is it against the rules to tell you Playtesting has been awesome? Its all too awesome
I second that. I love influencing the course of the game!
... also playing it.
I'm super excited about this game and playtesting has indeed been awesome. What I'm going to post has probably already been considered, but in the interest of this game attracting as many people as possible (something I'm sure we all want) I just wanted to mention a couple of things based on previous Kickstarters, primarily GSF.
1. I hope GTG is planning to spread the word in other outlets before Tuesday. Newsletter, website, Twitter, BGG, etc....I typically don't get the email update with announcements from GTG until the day after it posts on the website so it might be a good idea to have that ready before the launch. Building anticipation should ensure a strong first day, which will lead to people wanting to jump on if they see an already successful project likely to reach more strech goals.
2. The video: Please, please have a demo video done before the campaign starts that has been viewed/edited/gotten feedback from multiple people. With the ruleset still in playtesting, the demo is all people will have ot go on from a gameplay perspective. No ofense to GTG, but the quality of the demos in GSF was lacking compared to many other Kickstarter projects and was a complaint by many throughout the campaign.
3. Speaking of GSF, be prepared to address questions/comment from folks who are unhappy that you are launching another Kickstarter before GSF ships. I'm not saying there is anything that can be done, I would just anticipate said reactions and have a response ready.
Again, these are just my opinions based on observing a lot of Kickstarter projects over the last couple of years. I can't wait for this launch!
How much longer will I keep having to spam F5?
Still a bit. You may wear it out.
Knowing my luck with Shattered Timelines, I'm gonna be right in the middle of a class when I see an email on my phone about this, and then I'll have to wait upwards of an hour before I can contribute!
Now taking bets on how fast this will be funded.
Funding is slowing down, so I suspect it won't be fully funded until 9 pm EDT or so tonight. At that rate, it could be entire days before we hit a stretch goal!
Or people will start hitting it when they get home from work/class…
I know I did!
I need to wait for a little bit more money, I like being responsible with my irresponsible spendings
I left my (no wifi nearby) office at lunch to pledge. By my afternoon break (after working hours for many people on the opposite coast) it was funded, so I suspect you were right.
