Having played a game in it last night, the Time Cataclysm has for the moment secured a very firm lock on the title of my Least Favorite Environment By Far.  Its mechanical effects seem to have no real connection to each other, and in flavor terms that goes triple; it fails at being an "environment" in the common-sense meaning of the term, because you don't get the impression the heroes and villain are all in one place where different things are happening, but rather it seems as though everyone is teleported to a completely new - and irritatingly abstracted and simplified - setting every few seconds, but somehow all maintain their exact orientation relative to each other in the process.  It seems as if >G just had took a 16th card from each of the other 11 environments (like, why is there a tumbleweed to provide Cover when there aren't any Gunmen?), shuffled them together along with the Fixed Points and Rift in Times to form a new Enviro deck, and called it a day.  There's no cohesion at all, and it seriously undercuts the sense of story that the game otherwise provides.

But wait a minute, there's only one Fixed Point along with the two Rifts, so with one card from every other environment, we're left with one mystery card.  And here's the interesting thing about that...each of the Target cards has its HP bubble in a different style, matching one of the other Environments (the Charging Trike matches the "homemade raft sail" used on Insula Primalis's dinosaurs, the Tumbleweed has the wooden plank of the other Silver Gulch cards, etc).  But one card, the Main Computer Room, has a yellow honeycomb design which doesn't match anything that we've seen so far AFAIK.  And the Tachyon flavor text on the card mentions Baron Blade!  So what do we think, gang...is this meant to be a first glimpse of a "Freedom Five HQ" Environment which will feature in Vengeance?

The speculation is that it is the MDP, it looks a lot like the panel from the Freedom Five annual

I could easily forsee a "Villain Hideout" type environment in Vengeance, especially since it's going to focus on the villains themselves.

A Legion of Doom-style hq could be really cool!

The mechanical theme of the Time Cataclysm is Environment cards that can blow themselves up at start of turn, with a subtheme of Environment cards destroying other Environment cards at start of turn.
