I have seen a couple of great pieces of Sentinels fan art . . . but I want to see more!
Post your SotM fan art here! Show us your take on the characters and settings of the Multiverse!

I'm guessing you have already seen the wonderful artwork from the Google+ community that my talented wife drew, but i'll post it here as well for anyone else to feast their eyes upon.
Edit: Resized the image so it isn't so huge.

Once I can find a way to upload it, and once Shattered Timelines has actually been released, I can post one of my Dreamer decks that my friend drew pictures for every card, in pen. She's quite talented. Sadly its an old draft, but she gave me a custom-art Dreamer deck!
Having a former villain on the team...what could possibly go wrong?

Ever since we saw Silver Gulch, I thought the heroes would have to blend in until they could get the portal back open:
What did you use to make these pictures pcgamerpirate?
They are hand drawn in pencil, scanned into a computer, then colored with photoshop.
This may be completely unhelpful, but did you know that in Photoshop, if you have a black and white line drawing on one layer, then you make another layer for the color but change that layer's type to be "multiply", you can color all the way up to the black lines and even on top of them, and it won't actually color over the black lines? It makes coloring in black and white drawings like that super easy and pleasant. I only mention it because of the uncolored spots in the drawing, and I didn't know if you were using this technique.
Thank you, Spiff. I've been looking for ways to better color my drawings. As of right now, I've been using the fill tool (quick, but leaves those nasty white spots).
Here's Bunker's last stand (with new coloring method):

Yeah, that looks nice. Great job.
Happy to share the experience with ya, guy. Tempest looks fantastic!
Wow. I mean WOW. That is an AMAZING Tempest drawing. Would it be wrong to ask for more from you, DLC Costume? I love the painting look.
Oh I fully intend on doing most if not all of the characters, Evand! :D I'm so glad you liked my lil scribbly doos, thanks so much!
These are wonderful!
Are these stitched because they sure look like it? Whoever made these should go in to business. I bet quite a few people here would buy a set as the perfect card holders for each character!
Yup, it's all embroidered. They are a bit bigger than card-size, but I imagine they could be made smaller. I will pass your comments on to the crafter... who knows, she might indeed start producing them in quantity for purchase.
She'd have to be careful about selling things with >G intellectual property. Giving them away or making them for herself is one thing, but trying to make money on their IP is not nice.
Good point. Though with the amount of work these things probably take... I doubt there would be much profit in it anyways.
im no lawyer but might that be Fair Use? it's a different medium, and why people on Etsy can get away with making Mario and Final Fantasy and zelda and such crafts and such of highly trademarked and copyrighted video game figures - because it is a different medium
So I can sell a Micky Mouse t-shirt because that's a different medium than a cartoon? No, it's illegal.
I think the important thing to remember is that >G is made of nothing but cool people who are easy to talk to about almost every aspect of Sentinels of the Multiverse.
Undoubtedly its because Disney has /trademarked/ micky as well, and probably put a copyright on tshirts - but again, not a lawyer don't know for certain but…
all you have to do is do a google for Zelda Etsy and youll get
http://www.etsy.com/search_results.php?search_type=all&includes[]=tags&search_query=zelda
as the top link - now the Triforce symbol is probably too generic to be copyrighted, (but who knows, right? it is a giant company in nintendo) but if you scroll through there, i see at least one hoody, and a blanket with what is no doubt a faithful pixel by pixel represenatation of Link - I'm wondering how they are allowed to do these, when undoutbedly Nintendo is big enough to squash these things if it was something that challenged their control over that image. (if they dont challenge it then they loose control, i do remember that much from my business classes)
however! I don't want to derail this thread anymore, so if this is a top people want to continue talking about lets make a new thread somewhere yeah?
Here are two I created for the wiki. I was planning to make one a week for each hero, but then got sidetracked after two.

Nice!
Those are great. :)
All of these (yes, all of these) are really awesome. nice work!
(alas, I can barely even draw stick figures, else i would share too)
As always, I'm looking forward to our next game, DLC. It's always awesome seeing what you want to draw next after we save the world. It makes me feel like I'm part of the creative process!
Fine artwork, everyone. Keep up the good work!
There is a lot of artistic talent in this community! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Again, DLC, I am just so amazed. Bravo. It's really awesome, I must say.
Not sure how much cross fandom I'll find here, but here are the characters of Community in the timeline where Jeff somehow rolled a 7 and they all became Sentinels characters for some reason:

I kind of wish I'd added the dean as Visionary and Chang as keytar wielding Adept, but there was also a point where I was really wishing I'd just stopped with Troy and Abed so I didn't want to grow the picture anymore.

Troy and Abed fighting viiiillaaains!
Great picture, I love it!
That is fantastic! I love Community.
dypaca that is amazing, and I hope to one day see The Visionairdean. Hopefully I'm not alone there.
Thanks. I don't know if I'll try Visionary dean, but you can see Emma Frost dean here: http://www.avivor.com/english/?p=53
I came across that picture while searching for refence images for mine.
Holy. Crap. Community win. That's amazing and hilarious.
Sentinels/Community crossover?
Ooh, we got a place for fanart! I gotta get in on this!
So this is my own interpretation of La Paradoja Magnifica, before even the playtesters saw what it looked like and I felt like adding some illustrations to the playtesting decks( the Playtesters are given very basic cards during testing that only have names, text, and keywords. But they all still have a space where the illustration would go if it were there). All I knew was that the card was a "Timeship" and a Relic, which sounded cool enough to try drawing.
I sort of imagined her Timeship looking like an ordinary sailing ship with a bunch of ring-shaped structures for sails that it would use to latch onto a timestream like a cablecar, drawing temporal energy into the ship and giving it more stable direction. I guess the timestreams represent the major routes of causality, or in other words the only timelines we actually care about for the puropses of our story. i.e. there's one particular section of timestream that branches into two realities: one where Finest Legacy dies and one where Newest Legacy dies. This is a major event fork because it determines so many other outcomes and has such a big impact on the timeline. There's also a grubjillion nigh-microscopic timestreams that constantly branch out from the main timestreams, winding around, intersecting, congealing for brief momments before dispersing again. These form a sort of "sea of time" if a sea were to take on non-euclidian geometry. The sea is full of all the minor events that don't really matter, like which of the two eggs in a carton someone choose to have for breakfast in the timeline where that person took 18.45982 seconds to find a matching pair of black tube socks and remembered it was Wednesday exactly 2 minutes and 58.19345 seconds before they remembered to brush their teeth, etc... Stuff way to tiny for a Timeship's temporal sail-rings to latch onto that no one really cares about anyway.
Um, alright, I know I was gonna show you guys that fanart, but can I keep talking? Making up pseudoscience is fun!
On the other end of the scale we have the gargantuan, ancient timestream at the very dawn of time. This one's too big for any ship to latch onto, and it is what determines the starting parameters for every universe's laws of physics-- this is where the Multiverse is created. In theory, a big enough timeship could ride this universal starting stream to travel to any other dimension in existence, though such a device would likely require the combined resources of an entire universe. Thus, time-travel does not enable interdimensional travel between planes of existance too different to share any reasonably-sized timestreams, even though time and space are one and the same( wait, that's a law of physics, too, isn't it? I guess that's the one property that is multiversally constant, not specific to any one universe). Luckily there are other more "conventional" methods of universe-hopping, as we see from Infernal Relics. But these methods don't appear to be quite as efficient at time-travel.
Hmm... I just thought of something. Not counting psychics, it seems like a lot of magic users in Sentinels of the Multiverse have some kind of extradimensional connection. Maybe that's how magic works; you're alowed to break your own universe's laws of physics if you sneak in laws from another one. Hey, that must be what Gloomweaver is after! The mundane properties of our world are incredibly powerful magik from his perspective, and vice-versa. He tempts his cultist followers by offering them powers only the Realm of Dischord's physics would allow( Man, how can this universe NOT have the basic property that corpses can be made into zombies simply by running their life-sustaining chemical reactions backwards? And what's up with π? No wonder their magic circles don't work properly; everybody knows π = 3! But... wait a minute. Is creating a gravitational singularity really as simple as making something with infinite mass and zero volume in this universe!? And these "minds" the humans have... not only do their brains exist in all 3 spacial dimensions, but they use electricity and are susceptable to anxiety disorders! Not even the revered Monk-Chefs of the Third-and-a-Half Disturbing Klein Bottle could achieve such a powerful level of conciousness! Now this is a dimension with some great Magik potential!).
Argh I typed too much. Here. Look. It's a timeship.

Maybe I'll post a colored one later. Once Shattered Timelines is out for real I might post some other doodles I made on the cards.
If you were even a fraction as thorough with the Villain Contest, I can see why you made it to the top with Kismet. She must have a full-fledged backstory, eh?
Funtastic arts, everyone, by the by!
Hey Gang!
This is a work in progress, but I don't know when I'll get a chance to finish it. I recently discovered this card game, fell in love with it, and decided to do a "Project Rooftop" style re-design of Wraith. Hope you guys like seeing art in the raw.
Kudos to the designers and publishers of this great game, from a fellow game designer and publisher, and fan of superheroes.

"I'll just do a quick sketch of a Haka redimagining"
"ok, just flat colors"
"ok just some basic shading"
"alright, airbrush but only a little bit"
"ok but no lighting"
"maybe a little lighting…"
Absolute Zero reimaging line art already half way through U3U
(I wish I was actually smart enough to play this game lol)
I think you're learning how to play at a great pace! You've just played the characters with the most math so far!
This is an awesome redesign. Excellent work, sir! Perhaps the forum will conjure up an Ultimate/New 52 Universe for the Sentinels with your redesign series!
In Sentinels 52, Haka will be gay only so that his lover will die in the first issue and give him reason to fight against the forces of darkness. Issues involving Mr. Fixer will probably be written by Geoff Johns.
That is fantastic! He's like a walking, talking snow blower!
Just a quick pop in- we can discuss further elsewhere, as suggested, but the Triforce symbol can't be copyrighted partly because its use far predates the existence of modern copyright, and is thus public domain. It's the Hojo family crest. So anyone can use it, really.
So today I introduced my friends to Sentinels of the Multiverse, and fortunately they loved it. Then we played 1000 Blank White Cards, and my amazingly talented friend Rory produced these:

They're probably not quite as amazing if you don't know the people, but I still thought they were worth sharing.
It's fairly interesting that the one female is a Male hero and the others (aside for Omni) are males as female heroes. Also they sound really neat, and make look like they fit their SotM counterparts very well.
Unless she's really Young Legacy.
Some of the art on here is amazing :D Keep producing this stuff guys :)
It's Finest Legacy, Young Legacy wear a skirt.
Well seeing as I was there for the drawing of these I can confirm that that is just the normal Legacy but a female was playing as them so the artist just made a female Legacy version for that card :D same as how the Unity one is male because I was playing as them.
Screw it, I'm joining this thing too. (Bobby from the aforementioned art) Jeez some of the art on here really is good. Long live SotM!
Thought you guys might be amused by some of the doodles I did that my gaming group found funny. http://i.imgur.com/1e7mEL8.jpg At some point I started giving Tempest a tail, but otherwise I have no regrets.
your tempest reminds me of the Asari... o.o
Really? I thought it looked even more like those one Star Wars aliens. I think it's the thicker head tentacles.
twi’lek only have 1 (if female) or two (if male) head tentacles
so… yeah. I’m a geek.
Board game forum. We're all geeks here.
twi'lek only have 1 (if female) or two (if male) head tentacles :p
Oola, the two-tentacled Twi'lek dancer at Jabba's palace begs to differ.
Aayla Secura had two as well.
I think what you guys are talking about are the Nautolan (that alien race what Kit Fisto was)....
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Nautolan
Not exactly canon to the series, but that looks very similar to the pictures of Tempest above...
Not canon? Wasn't Kit-Fisto in the prequel movies?
Also, yes I was talking about those guys at not Twileks.
Some people don't consider the prequels canon.
I'm among those. They're George Lucas' fanfics.
For the record, Lynkfox was correct but typed it backwards - the highest order canon currently available is that male Twi-lek's have one Lekku, females two. Some other sources just say it varies individual by individual; all of this is an effort to explain why Bib Fortuna, who wasn't even originally meant to be the same race as the dancer in Jabba's palace, had one long Lekku. No, I did not have to look any of that up.
... erm, anyway, my group has always referred to the Maernians as Boy Asari. The head shape and color matches better*, plus they're absurdly long-lived races of hypocritical peace advocates with superpowers. Mass Effect would be an odd experience for Tempest - for his sake, let's hope that Bunker never introduces him to retro video games.
Ironic
* Okay, fine, Twi-leks come in a wide range of colors, but the famous ones are rich blue, not slightly green. Asari also have a range, but it's narrowed and does skew a little green in many cases.
okay. So im not as much as a geek as i thought. i could have /sworn/ all my memories of twi'leks had it the other way;...... but now that im thinking about it, no... the one in Jabba's Palace with the green skin has 1... and the companion in SWTOR has 2... hm. i just must be crazy :P
and the only truely 'green' asari is the one that was absorbed by the Thorian. If you save her she mentions that is her medical condition aftereffects of being part of the Thorian. All others are ranges of blue id say, but it might also be my own color sense (its off)
and i never considered the Asari peace advocates. I mean. Commandos. :P
(okay i think weve derailed this thread long enough... if you want to continue it, someone make a post in the Off Topic forum)
the one in Jabba's Palace with the green skin has 1
Take just one more look at that pic I linked to for Oola...
Is there a better thread for this discussion other than the Fan Art thread?
I'm not too good at drawing, but I've doodled some SotM art in my free time. I'm not sure about sharing it though, it's pretty awful.
It's supposed to eventually be me (as in REAL me) along with the characters I usually play. I only really ever play Unity and Fanatic (occasionally!). I'm not the best at digital art, and as you can see, faces are hard. So it remains unfinished.
Love the image of Unity sitting on Champion Bot's shoulders. I like to image she does that all the time and makes them carry her around.
Speaking of Unity....

Drew her last night. I got some the the mini expansions and am impatently waiting for the base expansion.

Pardon the double post, but this topic needs some lifeblood into it.

I am curious. What are some of the techniques that people here use in photoshop to draw their fan art?
One of the best techniques I've found for coloring in art like this is to have the black and white outlines on one layer in Photoshop, then make a second layer above it which has the layer type changed to "multiply" for the color. Color on a "multiply" layer won't show over black, so you can color in your art without worrying about the color going over and blocking out any of your black outlines.
What is this Community thing you guys are talking about?
Community is a TV show. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_(TV_series)
Alex, your ramblings about the physics of Time and Relative Dimensions in Sentinels are magnificent. Would love to hear more, and I like the image of a ship with rings on the bottom. If I ever become an industry mogul, hit me up about a writer-and-artist job.
The person who did the alternate Haka and Absolute Zero is also awesome. I like the outline drawing of Wraith as well, though it's from a professional so I have higher expectations in the first place and it doesn't seem quite as impressive (perhaps unfair of me - but then, the AZ and Haka pictures are in color, so maybe I'm being even more unfair than that).
Mass effect is "retro"? It's a hell of a lot newer than anything I've played. My definition of a "retro" video game is Super Mario Brothers.
So, you're invoking Death of the Author here? ![]()
Hello,
I'm a french fan of SOTM so I did those fanarts. Hope you'll like them. :o)

Those are awesome, just make Tachyon and then you've got all the Freedom Five.
Yeah, I agree. Very, very nice.
Wraith just gained a ton of fanboys.
I think wraith put her belt on upside down... it even happens to the best of us. :)
Very nice work though. I really love the personalized touches you gave to all the characters.
You NEED to do Redeemer Fanatic :)
That Bunker art though... Wow. Blown away.
And yes, as a Tachyon lover, I'd also love to see your version of her!
Wow, those pics are epic - now do all the other characters as well ;).
Not a fan of Wraith's costume, or Legacy's chin, but Bunker is fantastic.
Yeah, great job! Thanks for sharing these!
The quality on these is awesome, and the personalizations you've put on them are very interesting. I'm a little confused by AZ's, as he looks like a robot instead of a guy in a suit, but that's okay - it still looks very cool (and maybe he's from an alternate 'verse where Ryan lost his extremities…
While I love the quality and content of these, I do not like Wraith's costume. In fact, it actually annoys me - no offense intended, as it's my issue, not yours. One of the things I like about SotM is that the woman are actually wearing clothes. It drives me crazy how, in most comics, we generally have men fully clothed but woman are virtually naked, and this is another example of that.
Check out Grappling Hook for an example of what her outfit should look like. If it had been done like that, I'd be completely in love with this collection.
WOW. Just, WOW. Crazy. More please!
I think they're fantastic. Wonderful work.
I hadn't actually looked closely enough at Wraith…and yeah…actually…I'm not a fan of the "all women are practically naked and have big tits" thing that gets thrown around a lot. Maia's costume has a lot more full-body coverage than that. Still, I do still like the style if not the content of that particular pic.
Not to mention, given how athletic she is, her... *ahem* assets are bound to be a bit smaller, as they ARE primarily fat-based.
Not saying this artwork isn't amazing, but yeah, that Wraith costume should be showing less skin. That's not how we do things around here!
And her belt buckle should be turned around...
The Absolute Zero is really fascinating, though! Like if Johann Kraus stole Atomic Robo's wardrobe.
That being said, I'm not one for The Wraith's new look in this art. It's all incredibly reinterpreted and still very true to the characters, but Bunker got an incredible armor upgrade. If anything, The Wraith's one piece swimsuit could've been upgraded to some high-quality body armor, or even some near-future power armor. I love the quality of the art and the design reinterpretations of the other geries enough that I'm willing to wait and see what the artist's reinterpretations of the other female characters are before passing too harsh of a judgement.
Interestingly enough, Wraith is showing the editSecondedit /most/ Skin of the Female Heros (Visionary has her beat)
Honestly, I love them all. Sure bathing suit wraith could do with a little more clothing especially since it seems to be raining but I think the personal interprtation of the characters is really cool. Way to go!
I wasn't planning to speak up because folks tend to not like negativity, but the overall discussion has been so one-sided that I really have to say I did not like any of these four very much. The one I come closest to liking is Wraith, for exactly the reason that others have disliked it; it's not entirely fitting with her characterization as far as we know, but it is really attractive. Bunker is also somewhat neat looking, but not really Bunker; these figures seem more like villain mooks to me. The absolute zero one looks vaguely cool, but why the holy living hell is he wearing a coat? The last thing he EVER wants to do is be warmer. And Legacy just looks disgusting to me; I'm a big fan of the square-jawed look, but as rendered here it's hideous to the point of being inhuman. I'm torn as to whether I want to see any more of these; the artist has obvious talent, but I tend not to agree with his stylistic choices, and certainly it would be more constructive for him to put his effort into original creations he could potentially sell.
I certainly wasn't being negative towards them. At the very least, I have a huge appreciation for the artist's skill, and I really do like some of the details, especially in Bunker and Absolute Zero. Just because they look different doesn't mean we have to dislike them. I'm totally open to the idea of "reimagined" characters. I'd love to see more from the artist, just less sexually exploitive. That's not really very good grounds to like one of them more than the others. Or at least, not a reason you want to like it. Or should.
Well I for one do like it for exactly that reason so there. :P
Tell that to Power Girl.
Art is art and can be liked or despised for things that are either deep or superficial. One isn't really more valid than the other. For the most part I like all the art. I even like Wraith's, but the criticisms against it are valid and understandable.
Perhaps Kryptonian breasts are made of solid muscle. Regardless, they're just as bulletproof as the rest of her. The rules only apply to garden-variety humans, of which Batman (on whom Wraith is based) is constantly insisted as being one, despite how hard he pushes the envelope of what ought to be humanly possible.
Most female comic characters are drawn busty as opposed to realistically.
Ah, I see you're trying out a new custom hero! Let me know how Captain Obvious plays in this Environment. :D
Hello,
you asked for her, here is the final Freedom Five, Tachyon. Hope you'll like it. :o)

Oh, just a precision, Wraith's boobs are full of men's hopes and desires. Nothing less, nothing more. ;o)
Tachyon's great too.
Haha. I really like how she is standing in such a static pose and she is looking at the audience with kind of a defiant look. Like she's saying "yeah, I know you expected me to be a blur of speed... but I don feel like running just now".
Tachyon is pretty decent. I don't care for the hairstyle, but otherwise it's a good pic. Probably the second-best of these. Also I love your new avatar.
Thank you so much--love the Tachyon picture. It's fantastic. I'll probably have to make it the background on my phone. And I like that you made her look younger. Since we've seen "present" and "future" versions of Tachyon, it's cool to see what she would look like if she were a younger super hero.
Great work, sir!
Oh, I love that Tachyon... bravo!
Tachyon's looking good. I suppose maybe she isn't moving fast because she looks like a teenager in that pic and therefore it was before the accident ;).
Tachyon is all, "Seriously Mom, Lillian? She's so annoying, why do I always have to take her with me?"
The main complaint that I have with this new art is that Absolute Zero does not have his iconic blue triangle on his chest. That killed it for me.
Some of you guys may be having a hard time looking past the fact that the art isn't how you would have made it and just enjoying it for the way he made it.
Teenage Tachyon is way too cool for her lame goth cousin.
And some of us may just not appreciate the way he made it. Art is subjective after all.
Love the Tachyon pic. She and Legacy are my favorite characters to play on the Freedom Five, and I really like the design choices with both. Your redesign of Legacy stayed pretty true to his original look, and maintains a straightforward and simplistic design that really fits Mr. Parsons. Tachyon continues to wear a fashionable and functional outfit, and the jacket really brings it all together.
And some of us may just not appreciate the way he made it. Art is subjective after all.
That's true, but he didn't post them here to be judged by you. He just said, "I made these, hope you like them too." The appropriate response in those cases is, "Thanks!", not "I would have used red instead of blue", don't you think? I just thought we were more pleasant and welcoming than that.
Some seem to be contrary by nature.
Not contrary, just critical. I don't believe that anyone who inserts themselves into the public discourse is exempt from being evaluated; that's just not the way the world works. If you don't want to risk having someone tear your creations to shreds, keep them to yourself, or show them only to your close friends who you know won't hurt your feelings. If you display them to every stranger who walks past, you're asking to hear what everyone has to say; that's the whole point of the publicity.
I'm going to have to side a little bit with Envisioner. When you put something on public display, you open yourself up to evaluation and criticism. Of course, nobody has to agree with Envisioner's evaluation and if you want to argue with the evaluation itself and the points behind it, Spiff, then you are free to do so, but Envisioner does have a right to make his own evaluation, just as you have the right to question the validity of the evaluation.
Precisely. Society depends on the freedom of open discourse; if we're not allowed to speak the truth (or our perception of it) for fear of offending someone, then we end up with an entirely superficial society in which basic facts go unreported.
To be entirely clear, even though I don't mostly care for this artist's work, I'm glad he posted it; my worldview has been enhanced by the ability to consider these alternatives. I simply find that I mostly prefer the originals, but a chance of pace can be refreshing, and it's always better to have more options.
There's nothing wrong with criticism, so long as it is constructive.
Is that not what I've been doing? If not, how not? How would you have said things differently, if you were attempting to express the same opinion of the art?
Constructive criticism's always better though, right?
edit: ninjaed.
My point is simply this: El_Theo has raised the average awesomeness level of the Universe just a bit by creating and, more importantly, sharing his beautiful art. Everyone's opinion is of course the best, most important thing in the world, but before you drop your bombs on someone else's creation, just think for a moment whether by doing so, you're also raising the average awesomeness level of the Universe, or just dropping it back down.
Okay, I can get behind that. Sorry if I bummed anyone out.
Hello,
no problem for me with criticism. As Envisioner said, everyone is free to give his perception and, well, I'm ok with it. I heard the bad criticisms about Wraith, but I knew my vision of her might not fit everyone's expectation. No problem, it's only my personal interpretation. A great american philosopher named Michael Bay once said "I won't change my style for anybody, p*****ies do that". ;o)
Will you be doing any more pics? I'm interested in seeing your interpretations of the other heroes, and of the villains. I do like your art style even if the characters' actual appearances aren't really how I'd picture them if I was gonna create an image of them myself (eg Legacy with his huge chin, Ab'Zero wearing clothes over his cryo suit, Wraith's "Hey, look! Boobs!" image, etc).
I keep thinking I should do my own pics of the Sentinels characters, but I know I'm no good at drawing humanoids, especially actual humans. I've had a few ideas, but never got round to do anything, lol.
Whee, just finished my first ever piece of Sentinels-based fan art :). I had an idea to do pics like this ages ago but never got round to doing any until now. When I was considering which card to do as my first pic, the answer was obvious - okay, he turned out a bit wonky, but I'm pretty pleased with my first effort :).
Nice.
Looks pretty good. Was that done in Minecraft?
Hehe, yes indeed it was :). I realise I could build actual 3D models of everyone in it, but I don't think my brain could take that so I'll stick to bodging together these 2D images instead ;). I'm not sure what I'll do a pic of next...I only have a limited "palette" so I suppose there might be some things I can't do without the colours looking really weird. This pic took me a couple of hours or so - maybe I'll do another one when I've not really got anything else to do ;).
Well that's just beautiful :D
Pixel chomps, I love it! :)
Thanks all :). I might do the background on Mr Chomps as well - I did think about it last night but it was about 2am by the time I finished doing Mr Chomps himself so I decided to leave it there. I don't know which card's art I'll do next, whenever I get round to doing another one. I suppose technically it's not so much fan art as fan copying-the-already-drawn-pictures-in-a-slightly-crappy-way but I don't think I could do any decent pics from scratch in this particular medium - better done hand-drawn I think ;).
A Legacy symbol done in Perler beads.
After being cooped up in my place for about five days with the flu, I finally created some Sentinels fanart. Taking note from some awesome projects on the internet, I've been making Perler bead sprite art of various characters and monsters in games I played when I was a kid. I took a stab at Legacy's famous lantern.
I've never attempted to make one of these without a bead-for-bead pattern, so it looks a little rough. Also, the larger projects (there is a quarter next to the symbol for comparison) generally are a nightmare to consistently iron, and this one was no different. But, extra melted patches and imperfections all, I still am happy I pulled it off!
Cool! I've done some work with mini Hama beads and it's great fun. My Pac-Man "ghost" pendant gets a lot of attention.
I also appreciate the fact that SotM has mostly-clothed females (exception of Visionary). This was one of the reasons I bought SotM over the Marvel Legendary deck-building game.
I'm a conservative Christian and appreciate that the game as it stands is conducive to me and my family’s values. I'm glad I can play it with my seven year old and not find profanity, indecency, immodesty, and political agendas rammed down my throat or even hinted at - be they "conservative" or "liberal." The comics may be different, but the game as it stands is compatible with my faith (in a world where many things seem to not be) and I'm really thankful for that.
The guy in your avatar seems to be having an only-mostly-clothed moment. ;)
EDIT: doh! he put on some clothes and a hat now. :)
Ha! Good one! I actually just changed it right before you said that. I figgured I change it to my favorite Sentinel, Chrono-Ranger. When I googled Chrono-Ranger I got a gazillion pictures of the Power Rangers. Man, I hated that show. I have friends who loved it, but not me.
I truly apreciate the maturity in how you handled the criticism! It shows much about your personality and I loved that quote. I hope you make some more art for us to see! Also, I'm loving Pixel chomps and the nemesis icons!I wish I had any artistic ability but I may ask a friend if he would like to do some. He is a fantastic artist.
My favorite is the Bunker image. It's amazing.
You've almost earned all your Sentinels badges, Reckless.
All in due time. I'm learning more and more that I need a lot of grey. I've attempted to finish a Unity nemesis symbol and ran out halfway through. I'll also need some dark grey for Expatriette.
Anyway, I finished the Fanatic symbol. It's super busy, so I'm hoping you folks like it. I'm really, really happy with how The Wraith's turned out, as I thought it would be a lot harder than it was. I also managed to just finish up a Ra symbol, and I'm pretty happy with the bead color I managed to find.
I hope you folks like them!
Sorry for the double post, but I finally grabbed up enough grey to finish Unity's symbol. I also managed to complete a Haka and Mister Fixer symbol as well. I really need to get some dark grey beads, or I'll just have to postpone working on Absolute Zero and Expatriette's nemesis symbols.
Also, I'm not sure if any of my choices for Fixer's symbol completely changed or muddied the meaning, as I'm only familiar with English and a small bit of French. I did my best to represent all of the characters, but it was quite challenging to fit everything in and portraying the wavier strokes.
EDIT: However I seem to edit and reupload my Unity perler, it never seems to want to position itself upright. You may need to tilt your head or screen to view it right-side up!
Triple post! I got a bunch of beads in the mail that aren't normally around my local shops, so I could work on some of the characters that required dark grey. Here is Nightmist, newcomer Setback, Expatriette (I made her right after him purely by coincidence, and I thought it was fun that her symbol is radially symmetrical), and Argent Adept. The Argent Adept was incredibly hard. I didn't have a very good green for the background and I don't think I conveyed the image very well. The picture quality is also really bad, but I didn't think that people were missing out on much. I'll post a better one if anyone is curious. I'm almost done with Absolute Zero, but I need more dark grey beads (which I'll also need for Omnitron-X).
I'm generally not one to say such things, but Reckless your adept picture is really out of foucs (or maybe my coputer didn't process it properly)
There's also a glare on Expat's
Love the work though, defintely better than anything I could attempt
It's out of focus. I don't think it was a very good interpretation so I didn't bother retaking it. I can retake the Expat and AA pictures if you'd like.
I'm so close to finishing all of the heroes! I'll probably revise a bunch of them (Legacy and Argent Adept are two big ones that need to be fixed, and the Tempest perler's lighting bolts aren't as accurate as they could be), but I want to get them all done before the release tomorrow. I'll probably be up all night.
In other news, here is The Naturalist, Parse, Chrono Ranger, Absolute Zero (finally!), and Omnitron-X! Only The Scholar, K.N.Y.F.E., and The Sentinels remain! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to clean the game rooms at the comic shop I work at. The boss agreed to cover my shift tomorrow during the Magic: The Gathering Born of The Gods prerelease if I cleaned up the shop. Basically, I have the best boss ever. I also have to be at TeslaRoyale's house in about seven and a half hours to drive to St. Louis! The night is young!
EDIT: Omnitron-X will be in the next post. Ran out of files to add!
Thank you, again, Reckless. That was a very sweet gesture for you to give some of these out at the party yesterday.
Agreed - thanks! My only regret was not getting you to sign mine.
What!? You guys! I’m glad they were appreciated. Thanks again for cleaning our cages and making sure we don’t murder each other on the forums!
My Legacy perler is keeping Mr. Chomps company on my desk, next to the Dalek and the TARDIS. Thanks!
My NightMist perler has already mesmerized friends across the country, lost in the swirls.
Oh goodness, do I have to have Perler jealousy as well now? ;)
I'm actually tempted to have a crack at them myself. I have the tiny mini Hama beads. Reckless, would you mind if I stole your idea?
Do it! I'm just happy people enjoy them. With all of my double and triple posts I was concerned that there was a collective "When will this guy quit posting this junk!?" coming from the forum. I'm just happy that I've received so much positive feedback!
I'm glad that you folks enjoy your perlers. It was awesome being able to share those with the folks at GoH Con and on the forums!
I'll be working on the Sentinels nemesis symbol soon (and possibly a few more, thanks to Vengeance), and see about remaking the ones I gave out (and possibly improving on a few designs. After looking over the Argent Adepts nemesis symbol, I'm definitely going to go with a greyish background so that people can actually make out what it is! I don't know what I was thinking with neon yellow on neon green!
Awesome, thanks. :)
I noticed that Christopher tried to steal at least some of them...
He got Tachyon
And Adam got Fanatic
and I think a few forumites got some.
I'd like to hate them, then I could be the nemesis of the nemesis icons.
Sadly they are really well done and I don't. Oh well.
I gave one to each of the > G crew and the mods on the forum. Christopher, Adam, Paul, Jodie, Andy, Russ, and Craig (Arenson, Rabit, and Imprimis, respectively).
Here’s my attempt at making Broken Vessel Spite, WIP.

That is awesome!
Due to a rather unexpected amount of Lego love elsewhere, here is something I've been working on for a couple of days and of which I promised someone to post pics.
It's Legocy and the Sentinels of the Miniverse!
The project has gone through several stages. Initially, I just wanted to assemble a few heroes from existing Lego pieces, but then it pretty quickly became clear that A: I have to make everything! and B: that I need to do some painting to get it right. Which is where the whole thing nearly stopped because I feel there is just no way in heck to paint Legos so they don't look rubbish from up close, at least in the eyes of a perfectionist. Acrylic paint makes blotches, Markers make stripes and varnish looks hideous. Put some primer on the figures, you say? Nope, because then they become gritty and nothing fits together anymore. I have painted stupidly small details on miniatures before, but even eyelashes on a 20mm are less annoying than some of this was. So these are all still very much works in progress.
Missing from the Heroes are: Bunker, who is awaiting a consignment of epoxy, Fanatic who has hair issues, Tempest and Omnitron-X who have no heads, Haka and Ra. who have no torsos, and Nightmist and the Scholar, who need to be robed (the Scholar is totally nekkid). Vengeance Heroes will have to wait until I have my copy, but I have Setbacks head, poor guy.
Oh, and Expatriette was already as good as finished, but I accidentally disfigured her face (I know, that's what her mom said!).
Once that they are done, I'll start making some Villains (Blade, Plague Rat, and Citizen Dawn & Co. are already partially assembled )and the Mobile Defense Platform. I was contemplating making a stop motion scene once I have everything, but thanks to the horrible, horrible paint, the figures wouldn't survive the process. If I ever find a way to fix the problem and am prepared to make everyone again, I'll reconsider.
Anyway, on to the pictures. If you can't tell who is who, I haven't done my job!
Chrono with the metal arm. Fantastic.
Dat Raptor Bot!
SO good.
Those are awesome, Julia!
Love the details. Really wish there was a way to have Fixer's hat down over his (blind) eyes, but that's not really possible with what's available. Still, really shiny stuff!
Thanks for sharing!
Well, thanks a bunch!
Oh, you do not want to know the things that I contemplated to fix that issue! But I'll tell you.
I thought about erasing the eyes completely and then drawing a dark shadow on his face. Then I figured, I could blu-tac his head on at an angle. Then I thought, nah, I'll have to re-shape the hat so that the brim is pulled way down low (-> accidental 'Queen' reference) and then I thought, hey, I'll just saw the top of his head off!
But then I looked at myself and I didn't like the person I had become over this. So yeah, Mr.Fixer stays this way (fun fact: the head used to belong to Emperor Palpatine) and I'll take all subsequent pictures at an harsh angle with appropriate lighting. Seriously, it weirds me out a litle to be able to see his eyes, too.
Now Raptor Bots, on the other hand, those I could make all day. But I can't, because I'd starve.
The Grasshopper (age 8) wants your Absolute Zero minifig. Very badly, I might add.
Those look really awesome!!
I think I am going to have to steal your idea. Like. Right. Now!!
My daughter and I are playing Lego Marvel Superheores right now (which is super fun, btw) and seeing tehese awesome figs makes me want a SotM version of that game (or any Sentinels video game, really). Those look great!
Really well done on a lot of art here.
Love Lego Visionary, she's about to make it rain superior brainpower
Wow, those are all really cool :D. I'm afraid it took me a little while to recognise Visionary but in the end I think it was the boots I recognised, for some weird reason. I think it's because card-Visionary's clothing is green rather than blue. Still, I worked it out in the end so that's okay ;). Looking forward to seeing what else you can make :D.
I should get back to making some pictures like that one I did of Mr Chomps...I keep meaning to, but haven't got round to it yet. I also haven't got any particular thoughts on which card art to do - I was just gonna look through them and find one that I think I can do. I might also go back to Mr Chomps and add in the background. If I could be arsed, I'd redo him bigger (so the fiddly details of his claws and teeth look less messy and more like...well, claws and teeth ;)) but it took me a couple of hours to do that version so I'll probably just leave him as he is.
LOVE! Love love love!
Oh, and Expatriette was already as good as finished, but I accidentally disfigured her face (I know, that's what her mom said!).
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
You. Crack. Me. Up.
Absolutely fantastic Sentinels of the Legoverse.
Been wanting to do this for a while.

http://fav.me/d765bu0
Beautiful work.
But should she be flying with that thing over her face?
Can't be very safe.
THE LORD WILL GUIDE HER FLIGHT. Or something.
I love the work! Is she landing in a puddle or touching the surface of a lake or any other body of water...? Like I said LOVE the art but the ripples confuse me.
It could just be the impact on the ground, like a mini-shockwave because she's landing so hard.
That's pretty cool, is it a Sentinels specific version of your avatar, what's your avatar?
Its a pony
Very nice work Maniac
I like the idea that the ground trembles beneath the feet of the mighty Fanatic!
Awesome work on Fanatic, guy. I look forward to seeing more of your art on the forum!
Got my son to try his hand at drawing a Sentinels character. This is his first stab at G.I. Bunker:
Someone on the G+ Sentinels fan page suggested I post this here. :)
I don't have G.I. Bunker but this looks great! You have a talented son.
How old is he? And thanks for posting this. Very nice work.
Thanks! He's 18, and amongst other things (he sculpts, does effects makeup, and voiceovers), he sure would like to break into the comics industry. :)
For those interested, he has a DeviantArt account with other artwork, here: http://constantm0tion.deviantart.com/
Once I get the nerve up (and actually finish a sketch), I might try posting something here, too.
My first shot at something Sentinels-like.
On my Deviant Art... for some reason, I can't seem to link it into here.
I like it.
That is sick dude.
That Omni-X is sweet.
I only see a tiny blank square. :(
Impressive work on Omnitron-X, guy.
Seeing new fan art has reminded me to post up the last of my nemesis icon perler creations. I finished these a few months ago but it kept slipping my mind. So, here they are! The Sentinels, Captain Cosmic, and Guise! I'm halfheartedly attempting Skyscraper, but I don't think it will turn out very well due to size and color constraints.
Yeah, Maniac0013s' image is not loading for me, either.
Though it is a little known fact, Sentinels Comics once partnered with up-and-coming game company Accuire to make a series of 8-bit games on various characters from their multiverse. One of the games, simply titled Legacy, allowed the player to run around Megalopolis taking down burglars, bank robbers, and street thugs using Legacy's various abilities. You could inspire police (or fellow Freedom Four members, on occasion) to boost their abilities in combat, throw enemies at one another with super strength, become outright immune to melee or projectile based attacks (depending on which power-up you collected), become temporarily invulnerable, and even take flight for later missions when you battle through henchmen to reach the real villain: Baron Blade. The game's final battle took place on Blade's Mobile Defense Platform against the Baron in a mech that was very reminescent of the suit later used in the Moonfall arc of the comics!
Sadly, the project ultimately didn't make it to market. Accuire's resources ran dry due to game delays, poor communication, and extensive redesigns. Apparently the designers (split between three levels of a ten story office building) did not know which character their game would be about. One level thought the game would be about a character known as Sunman, a new character. Another floor thought the protagonist was a garishly colored prettyboy simply named Superman, supposedly from a "Detective Comics"! The spritework was a mess, and even when the developers worked 80+ hours a week for the final month practically living out of their cubicles the game wasn't completed. They managed to scrape their assets together to release the Sunman portions, and there are even a few Superman cartridges out there. But sadly, the game that was meant to be Legacy never managed to be released. After that, and the company taking a huge hit from poor investments in Aldred Industries, Accuire shut down its studio. They say there's still a few reference materials for various other characters in the Sentinels Multiverse scattered about, but none have been recovered.
This design was recently discovered from a cartridge in a basement located in Centennial, CO. Though the game consistently freezes past anything more than the title screen, a friend managed to retrieve the sprites for me to replicate in Perler beads. It can't quite capture the majesty of Legacy flying above the cityscape of Megalopolis, punching out the Baron's high-flying henchmen, but it does give us a small preview of what could have been.
Lookin' good!
Awesome stuff, Reckless!
The classic Sega Genesis game Streets of Rage (Bare Knuckle in Japan) follows the story of officers Adam, Axel, and Blaze fighting their way through waves of henchmen and underbosses of the villainous Mr. X's crime syndicate to restore peace to their city. It spawned two sequels, three short comics in the back of Archie's Sonic the Comic (with the first two written by Mark Millar, author of Kick-Ass, Wanted, Marve's The Ultimates, etc.), and an homage in Saint's Row IV in the retro mission "Saints of Rage". The game series is beloved by gamers everywhere for its impressive graphics, smooth gameplay, and experimental soundtracks. It's hard to imagine the gaming world without it.
Good or ill, that almost happened.
Sega let its "Genesis does what Nintendont" reputation go to its head. The first entry in the series, Streets of Rage (Bare Knuckle: Furious Iron Fist in Japan) was originally titled Bloody Knuckles: Furious Black Fist. In this game Black Fist fought through The Organization's various henchmen with each level ending with one of The Chairman's Underbosses. Though he couldn't utilize his signature styles from the comics (the programmers instead programmed a signature move from each of his styles into the game) Black Fist could find Toolbox Power-Ups while wandering the streets of Rook City that would grant him a random weapon. These would modify damage, range, and combo length but, if dropped, could be picked up and used by Thugs. The final level involved an Underboss rush, followed by his personal bodyguard, a nameless woman with unique weapons of her own (a tonfa and blade), and eventually concluded by the reveal of The Chairman's true identity, Graham Pike of Pike Industries. After a dip in one of his Pike Industrial Complex vats, Pike emerges as a musclebound hulk (with his suit still in remarkable condition) and fights Fist with a combination of brute force and chemical explosions. After dealing the final blow, Black Fist apprehends Pike in a cutscene alongside a cameo appearance from and The Wraith.
The game featured a limited amount of replayability. After beating the game, a two-player mode was unlocked. The second player would control The Chairman's bodyguard, though her gameplay was little more than a palette swap of Black Fist. In addition the difficulty of the game wasn't increased in the multiplayer mode so unlocking it was little more than a bragging right.
This would've been quite the impressive game if not for the fact that Sega hadn't been allowed the use of Black Fist by Sentinels Comics. Though Sega developed a moderately successful game based off of The Wraith, they had misunderstood their contract with Sentinels Comics and wrongly assumed they had access to all of Rook City's costumed heroes. Unimpressed by the beat-'em-up aspects and finding combo complexity to be lacking, they were further frustrated by the liberties taken by Sega with Black Fist's continuity. Sega planned on having Black Fist's nephew, Adam Hunter, be the protagonist of subsequent games and had lined up a number of sequels starring him that had little to do with Black Fist, The Organization, or Rook City. Feeling Sega was using their character as little more than a springboard for a new series, Sentinels Comics didn't grant them permission to release the game with Black Fist. Bloody Knuckle: Furious Black Fist became Bare Knuckle: Furious Iron Fist, The Chairman became Mr. X, and any reference to Rook City or The Organization were removed from the game. Adam became a playable character alongside Blaze, a modified sprite of Pike's nameless bodyguard, and Axel, a new character who later became the star of the series. The game allowed multiplayer from the get-go, and went on to be quite successful despite no longer being associated with Sentinels Comics or Black Fist.
However, some initial copies of the game featured Black Fist as a bonus character. If the players managed to use every item and weapon in every level and beat Mr. X while using every move in the game, Black Fist could be selected as a playable character on subsequent playthroughs. Though the weapon system of the game had been overhauled, they did reference Bloody Knuckle by changing the bottle weapon into Black Fist's pipe wrench when he was selected as a character.
I was really thrilled to discover this since Streets of Rage is one of my favorite games! My copy came on a Sega Six-Pack, sadly, so I didn't have access to Black Fist/Mister Fixer as a playable character. Fortunately I dug up a copy at a garage sale a few days ago and (after a marathon fueled by nostalgia, caffeine, and tenacity) managed to unlock him and replicate the sprite (with pipe wrench) in perler beads!
If you would like to compare Black Fist and his pipe wrench sprite to others used in-game, just reference here, here, here, and here.
Here is my fanart of Aata the Bold (A.K.A. Haka the Savage). I always thought that when he was a chief he was muscular, but not as obviously so as he is when he met the Freedom Five. (There was also a little bit of inspiration from DLC Costume and their awesome fanart of Haka.)

Tried my hand at a digital painting emulating a watercolor

Totally awesome.
That is great, Maniac0013s! Thanks for sharing!
It's hard to stay calm when your people died for a man who just wanted power. It's hard to stand by when when you see him about to do it again.
This is my fanart of Tempest about to go into a fight.

Nice!
Do Tachyon next! I command you as your leader!
Please?
Gotta go fast!
AWESOME!!!
Hi.
Also WOW!
Welcome to the forum!
And I concur: WOW!
That's great stuff!
Thirded.
Wow, those are epic :D. Tachyon is brilliant, and I like Setback's slightly derpy eyes. Do more, do more! :D
I agree I'd like to see more if you have it.
More of Setback please. *moon eyes*
oh goodness thank you guys :V
there is def going to be more fan art coming along, namely of villains next. ill post thems as i do thems
Wow, all 3 are fantastic! I'm particularly fond of the Visionary art. Looking forward to some villains.
Love them, Tachyon looks fast.
Well done! And welcome to the forums!
I kinda want Visionary to be my avatar for life.
Damn, those look good!
A while back, I attempted to create Absolute Zero in DC Universe Online. Recently, I updated the model to reflect the Tactics design.
Some time ago, Christopher told me to put some pictures online.

I don't consider him to be 'finished', but what I have so far isn't bad. Unfortunately the game engine doesn't allow for any of the fun fire damage -> cold damage of Zero's deck.
Nice!
Hey, welcome to the forums! These are amazing!
Lookin' good, Hannah!
I know I'm not the best but these are works in progress. As you see, I'm also doing the Promos.
Please note that Fanatic is still a very much work in progress.
Ive done sprites for a while, just for funzies, and I wanted to do ones for the Sentinels for a very long time.
I like them!
They would make such an incredible RPG maker game.
You'd get the promos if you recruited them at different times, and the Dialogue! The cheesy Legacy dialogue and the constant Mwuahahaha of Baron Blade.
It would be glorious.
Awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing, UXM266.
Those are sweet. Do more!
Someone totally needs to do an RPG Maker Sentinles game.
I am currently trying to do all of them, it just takes a while. I also MUST say that I've just modded FFVI sprites. I just mix and match, change the colors, or add a little dodad. I'm going in order of the list set in the page on this very website. So, sorry unity fans, ou'll need to wait a while :P.
Thanks for the great feedback, I really appreciate it!
Well, I certainly hope you don't mind, but that Tachyon image is definitely my new background image for my iPhone. These are amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Great job
Wow, great work. I for one really like how you did the shadows, it's very 2D and I like the stretch from her to the seperate figures. Gives a sense that they are still at a distance, like she has some respite.
Can't wait for the other two.
Do painted miniatures count as fan art? I don't know, but why not?
Unity's golems were easy to paint, so I started with them.

Bunker and Absolute Zero also had simple color schemes, though I wasn't sure if Bunker was supposed to be more of a gold, bronze, or dull yellow. I went with a dark bronze. I did their traditional colors, not the new Tactics outfits.

I also did Omniton, but I haven't taken a picture of him separately, so here he is with everyone else:

Anyone have a good way to get a glowing effect for Omnitron's upper carapace?
I got what felt like a pretty good blue glowing effect when I did the Bjarlspire GSF ship. You can see it here, in case it's something you want to try. What I did was paint the area medium blue then mix medium and light blue and speckle the center of the area with that. Then I'd mix more light blue into that mix and speckle it again in a slightly smaller part of the area, repeating it over and over with lighter and lighter blue. so that the area got progressively lighter towards the center.
The other three members of the Freedom 5 in their original costumes, along with Unity in something resembling her original costume.

Baron Blade and Ambuscade. Ambuscade has an easy paint job; I suspect he'll be a lot more popular in Sentinel Tactics than he was in the card game.

Just out of interest, why original costumes? They don't match the character panels.
Looking good.

PART 2: http://i.imgur.com/b5vZ2yp.png
As requested here is part 2! Currently up to Ra!
EDIT: I might be able to work on the Tactics costumes, but I will need art for them....
Aww, lookit liddle Grampa Legacy's helmet. Cute.
Man I love these little guys, This is an RPG game I need to play.
Unity, I've always apreciated the Mechanic Punk look.

Does my cosplay count...? :D

Nice! I love Sentinel Comics cosplay!
First post! Woo!
Decided to try my hand at a redesign for The Visionary. Hope ya like!

Full description located here!
Awesome job, that suit works really well for her.
Thanks! I wanted to give her a cool stealth catsuit with some pants, and I thought she'd look cooler with a muffler since about half the heroes all have capes/cloaks.
Nice! Welcome to the forums!
On days when the air begins to get chilly, and the wind blows harder, it's always relaxing to go outdoors and practice your instruments.

(EvanDan, I will one day draw Tachyon, just for you. I just have so many ideas spinning in my head and not enough time.)
Scholar doesn't get enough love.

Oooh, I really like this one.
(Not to say I didn't like the others. This one just really jumps out at me.)
Nice work!

"I kinda like this one, Bob."
Oh my goodness! I'm so glad that you like it. :D
Thank you!
If only there was a like button on the forums. ![]()
Hey guys! It's been a while since I've posted something here. So this time I decided to do a bit of a crossover art style by mixing Sentinels of the Multiverse with Scott Pilgrim.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
Ahem.
Those are great.
Absolutely love that Mr. Fixer. He just looks cranky.
Two great things that go great together.
Hey guys,
So I apologize for being very, VERY lazy with my sprites. Some stuff came up and yada yada. But after seeing cool new art I thought I need to continue with my sprites! I just have a quick quetsion, does anyone know where I can get good picures of the alt-costumes from tactics? I unfortunately do not own it, and would like to try and make them too.... anyone want to help out?
I could see Setback having to fight Expat's evil extended family and then finally her mother.
"You're the one who decided to date someone with 20 evil inlaws." - Unity
"12." - Setback
"Oh. That's not so bad."
Setback vs. The Multiverse
That… Seems appropriate.
Someone needs to make that fan mod of the Scott Pilgrim game.
Fixer as Stills
Nightmist as Kim
Unity as Knives and Tachyon as Knive’s Dad
“We are Dark Watch and we’re here to sing about death and get sad and stuff!”
LOL!!!
Expatriette as Ramona?!
Of course.
Defeateddust and I have yet to get our copy of Wrath of the Cosmos. So to help keep us pumped Defeateddust made this.

If you guys get yours before I get mine, I'll drive down there faster than you can imagine.
Sounds good. ![]()
Count on it. I saw your label come through and ripped it up. You don't need a copy.
"Power corrupts. Absolute power… is a good start."
Curious if anyone has seen these DIY action figures, yet...

no i hadn't seen those, but I did see /these/ (http://www.amazon.com/Funko-DIY-Pop-Vinyl-Figure/dp/B00IPY875S ) they other day and thought about a few Sentinel ones....
Ha! Yeah, I agree - that would be great!
I am not sure if this the right topic to post this in... But I hope it will do ^-^
Firstly I just wanna say quickly how I only found out about Sentinels of the Mutliverse a few days ago via Steam. When I saw it I thought to my self "What the heck, it looks fun - I'm gonna buy it" - so I did. And oh man, I have had so much fun. I love the game, the characters - all of it. In fact, Sentinels is the only game that I enjoyed so much to actually wright a (positive :D) Steam review for. So a big thanks to Christopher for making such an awesome game.
But anyway - as with most games that people play, each of us finds our favourite character(s) - and mine has been Fanatic, by far. So much so that I wanted to recreate her in Champions Online (Superhero MMO). So I did! I slaved over this for over an hour to get her as close as I could.
Sadly, I wanted her to have a sword. I could if I use freeform (those who have played Champions Online will know what I am talking about), and picked the sword as her basic attack, and then used powers from the Radiant, as that would be most fitting. I tried it and it was not very effective. So I just went with the Radiant archetype. I might decide to change that, as I have only just created her. But we will see. No sword for now, sadly.
But either way, pelase tell me what you all think! ^-^

Welcome to the forums!
Those are pretty great pics of Fanatic. Well done.
That is really well done. Thanks for sharing!
And welcome to the forums!
Thank you all ^-^ I am glad you like the pics. =)
I still occasionally play Champions Online myself, bought a Lifetime Subscription back in the beta so I can come back to it anytime I want and still have access to everything, plus the veteran rewards.
My chat handle is Koga_Wolfe.
Thinking I ran some missions with you Koga.
I think it would be awesome if we made our favourite characters from Sentinels in Champions Online and posted them here - or even played together at some point as a Sentinels team ^-^ I would love to get more involved with the community however I can :3
Fanatic has been my favorite for years now, and I have never gotten tired of the relentless pursuit of evil to crush.
Great work on making her in game, and if you haven't played Kaargra Warfang, just wait, Fanatic in the arena is amazing, and just crazy amounts of fun.
I haven't played against her for now as I have only ever played the PC version of Sentinels - I look forward to when they add the Expansions as DLC's on Steam though :3
I do perler bead art and I wanted to try my hand at some 8-bit SotM characters. I'm just starting out with this idea so I've only done a couple so far (it takes me a minute because I'm slow) but I intend to do more. I'm going to at least do the Freedom Five and Baron Blade. I'll probably do more after that but I don't want to commit to much until I finish my first project. I tried to make the images large enough that anyone who wanted to could copy what I've done.
But anyway, here's Wraith and Tachyon.
How do you guys post the pictues on the comments? It will only let me post the links to the pictures and I want everyone to just be able to see them as they scroll by.
Try copying it and Ctrl-V.
Nice Perler art! It's always cool to see more of those around here! I'd get my Mask of The Matriarch done if my stupid shops around town would restock on black Perler beads...
Hey, Reckless, you and HappiestMeal should get together and make a Sentinels of the Multiverse perler bead game.
I always use image tags
(remove the underscores)
=
For some reason I am unable to copy and paste in the text box for the forum right now... I don't know why though.
Awesome while being a nice showcase of different styles kudos.
Wow! Great stuff!
Looks great
Impressive!
HAHAHAHAHA!!! That’s great! I would win!
Love it! Obviously I would win!
Edit: Also this is going to become my Steam profile picture!
That's awesome art!
But it's clear as neither have hands they would both lose.
Love all of the new artwork!
Great!
Ha! That's awesome!
And well done, too - thanks for sharing!
That totally wins. Nice work Sejixs!
Thank you! I'm so happy that you guys like it.
Here is another drawing I did recently. I ran out of room drawing it, and will probably redraw this sometime in the future, but here is my take on an AU Wraith when she was just starting to be a crime-fighter/bounty hunter in a Steampunk world.
On the side note, lace (her mask) is really difficult to draw.
Also, sorry for spamming y’all with fanart.
I don’t mind this kind of spamming.
No apologies needed! This definitely isn't spamming - it's what the thread is for.
Thanks, again, for sharing this stuff!
That's awesome
Approved! I mean, someone had to put that guy on ice.
I always check this thread for your stuff. Love it!

Pixel Fixer of "The Super H.R.-io Brothers"!
Is player 2 going to be a pallot swapped Fixer called Black Fist?
Neat!
That's awesome!

Wow! You folks are constantly amazing me…
Wow, I've just lost my niche!
Those are awesome! How tall are they? Any possible interest in selling? for how much?
OMG that tiny Baron Blade just Impulsed my heart.
He's so Maniacal!
Did I ever show you guys my crocheted Tachyon?
Blade is so happy to be so adorable! I'm smitten! Though, it's little secret that I have a gigantic crush on our dear Baron, so it shouldn't be too hard to put me over the edge.
This is the only shot of Tachyon as far as I am aware.
That they’re holding their cards is magnificent. Well done!
Thanks for the high praise, guys!
Huh? I'm not sure I underst–wait. What's this?
D'awww! Those guys are awesome, Silverleaf! You should post some more pics if you've got them.
Blade is about 7"/18cm, and Tachy is a little taller than that. And I would love to make guys like these available, but I don't think it's really feasible. They do take an awfully long time to make, and that means I'd have to charge more than I really want to in order to make it worth my while. And above all, it doesn't seem very kosher to profit off of the G>G team's work.
That being said, if you'd like a little hero as a gift for a realllly special occasion, I may possibly be able to oblige.
Tiny Raptor Bot is the cutest thing ever.
Whoa. Very. Awesome.
Ahh! Your Baron Blade and Tachyon are awesome! Fan-crafts are always cool to see.
Thank You
I have not, but I am definitely going to put it on my to-draw list. ![]()
I'd also love to see Sir Bunker of the Round Table along with the Scholar as Merlin and Natch as the Green Knight. Maybe the Matriarch as Morgan le Fey?
I'm thinking ahead… I have an almost 5-year-old redhead who was dressed up in this costume (minus the mask, which she doesn't like because it gets in the way of her seeing), and armed with a foam sword and shield we got at Target several years back. (They no longer have images on their web site or I'd link.) 'Twas really adorable.
So, there's a possibility I may ping you back if her supers interest continues. ![]()
That is super cool. Costumes and props are the best.
Please do! Making cool stuff for kids was the reason I got into crocheting.
Also Sirs Absolute Zero, Fanatic, Parse, KNYFE, Captain Cosmic, and Haka? With Legacy as King Arthur. Fright Train can be the Black Knight.
This must also be added on my to-draw list. ![]()
Though it might be a while before yall see me post anything since the semester has started up again.
Boooo! School!
Ghost school?
WKU has certainly killed us, so we may as well be ghosts.
Can't confirmed that we're definitely all dead.
Western Kentucky University?
I finally finished Sky-Scraper's Perler nemesis icon...but it looks pretty terrible. I did what I could with the space and colors I had...

I also remade my Argent Adept Icon so it's a little less harsh on the eyes and more accurate. At least three of the people I gave my creations to at the Gathering of Heroes wanted his symbol until I showed them the rather poor color scheme I chose when I was sleep deprived and clearly out of my mind.

I've also remade a lot of the nemesis symbols I've given away over the past year or so. I gave Tachyon to Christopher, Mister Fixer to Paul, Fanatic to Adam (and fixed an out of place black Perler bead on my original), Unity to Jodie, Absolute Zero to Russ (Rabit), Nightmist to Andy (Arenson9, but this new one has glow-in-the-dark beads), and Legacy to Craig (and I haven't made another one yet because I need to revise my design...).
This is actually my third Expatriette nemesis symbol, as I gave the first (along with my Setback symbol) to Under3 in an art trade for some amazing Little Big Sentinels figures, and the second to a friend who moved out of state, as she is his favorite!

If I've mixed up any of the recipients I apologize! The Gathering of Heroes was a blast but it was over before I knew it and was very hard to keep track of everything!
Those look awesome.
I love my nemesis symbols (and the joined Setpatriette symbol).
That image looks great with them as a set.
That's us.
My best friend graduated from there.
That Fanatic perler is amazing. Also, props to finishing the tricky Sky-scraper one. I know that was giving you trouble!
The perler bead icons look awesome!
So, these past couples of days I've had a little bit of spare time from all the snow cancelling my classes! I've had a chance to work with watercolors for the first time, and ended up trying it out with Beebot.

(I also got a requested piece done, but I need to get to a scanner to continue working on it.)
Isn’t that actually a hornet?
Bee Bot is more fun to say.
Took the words right out of my mouth.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wO8toxinoc
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GrV3OZdjP8
Bee Bot looks great! Well done.
Thanks for the compliments. I’m happy with how they turned out…except for Sky-Scraper…
That’s awesome!
Art and Pun Crafting? Is there anything you can't do?
Dude! UXM266, they look amazing!!
Oh, that's hiliarious!
 Thanks awesome, Sejixs!
That’s awesome!
These are great! I love the detail on that lamp!
I aprove this Lampshade Hanging.
I need to make those into some Perler creations!
Assuming that's cool with you, of course!
I can't see why not, but I am re-purposing Final Fantasy VI Sprites. You going to do them just for yourself?
The Heroes (w/o Tactics) are now done!
Wooo!
Also, I want to mention, if I haven't already, that I did not make the sprites from scratch, that credit goes out to Squaresoft for thier game Final Fantasy VI. I just customized them to look like SotM's great unique characters.
I will work on the Villains, then Tactics, then the Nemeses in V5. THEN tactics, and others.
Your encourgaement and support made this thing happen. Thank you all. For that, Is there anything a forumite wants to see first? i will take your desires first!
Thanks again!
Those look awesome.
Those are great! I love that Guise has one with a crown and cape.
I initially was confused as to why Guise's head was on fire, then I realized it was a crown.
Great work on all of them, I seriously want an old-school RPG of Sentinels now.
It would be glorious, roaming around doing side-quests to unlock new characters, levelling up and getting new abilities.
It would be amazing.
I want this to happen! I would put a lot of hours in my life towards that game. (Especially if you got to find secret quests that let you fight against villians.)
Thought this belonged here, I am working on a large scale Sentinels themed video project, and had some fun with one of the images from Tachyon's costume test. :)
That's cool!
That Tachyon is so cool!
I believe I have an addiction....
The original 10 Villains are done (well I just forgot about Spite's Promo) but more are on thier way!
I also put a grey background for better contrast. Hopefully you still enjoy them and are not tiring of the spam in this forum thread.
Not tired of them at all, keep up the good work.
I would never stop playing a game with all of those sprites in it. One question: were you going to include The Seer as Fanatic's mini-nemesis (not that what you have doen isn't amazing, just because you seem to be going for a complete set)
Shoot! I missed the Seer… He’ll definitely be there. The only ones that might come very late (near the end) will ve the minions, henchman and the ilk.
And thanks for the encouragement
There might be some folks who are really looking forward to seeing how they are represented - since some art is based on real people…
if you're talking about yourself, I'll Make sure you'll be represented with dignity if not, then with noteworthyness!
I'm waiting for you to make the Cursed Acolyte and his lack of pants.
Heh, a little, but mostly I was betting on Cursed Acolyte and Siege-Breaker. ![]()
And thanks for all these - they really are impressively entertaining! ![]()
EDIT: And the more I think about it, the more entertained I am by the idea of Siege-Breaker and Cursed Acolyte going at it in an 8-bit game! ![]()
I'm trying to figure out how if someone wanting see a 8-bit sprite of the character based off myself rather than themself is awesome or sad.
Or just funny
So. very important question. Where can I get a list of characters based off of forumites? I really need to make them now! Anyways, here's Villain update #2! - Rook City - Missing nemeses. To Do - Expansion Villains - Promo deck villains - Forumites FYI: My all time favorite now is the hippo.
EDIT: Uploaded proper version.
Here are the ones I can name off the top of my head;
Cursed Acolyte is Ronway.
Siege Breaker is Pydro
Imprisoned Rogue is Rabit.
The Deputy is Arenson 9
The Broker is Mrs. Arenson 9.
Citizen Anvil is Christopher.
Citizen Hammer is Adam.
Profane Zealot might be somebody, but I forget who.
Guy getting stabbed in Remoseless Provocation is also a forumite, I think.
Thanks! Also, I'm a little hurt, and sad you don't know who Profane Zealot is abse on! I mean, he is by far one of my favorite!
(Hint: it's me :P)
Cursed Acolyte vs. Seige Breaker in game would be played out by having them be in every single bar in the world arguing about who was better while they drink away their sorrows at being unemployed after their bosses were defeated.
There would have to be a special cut scene fight if you manage to visit every bar in the game and talk to them, and then something funny happens and everyone laughs at them.
Except that the Cursed Acolyte doesn't drink.
I finally got around to redesigning my Legacy nemesis symbol!
Those sprites continue to be amazing, UXM!
Double post! Finally took the time to take a picture of all of them in one place! A little under half are replacements from redesigns and/or gifts to friends both online and off. I definitely need to revise a few of these some more, but I'm pretty happy with most of them.
Except Haka, Tachyon, and Ra. I'm super happy with them.
And Sky-Scraper. Poor, sad, complicated nemesis symbol Sky-Scraper...
The guy-getting-stabbed-by-Apostate is PWatson ;).
All the sprites are cool, as are all the Nemesis symbols - it's only when I saw Unity's symbol in this kind of large form that I realised it's not some kind of random glowy yellow thing but one of Mr Chomps's eyes.
And it's now bugging me that I can't work out/remember whose symbol that is between Ra's and the Sentinels', but I can see they're displayed alphabetically so my brain has probably just blanked out someone really obvious beginning with R or Sa/Se, because I can't think whose Nemesis symbol is a bunch of wibbly yellow stuff - my first thought is Dr Medico but he's one of the Sentinels. Well, apologies to whichever Multiverse-saving hero whose existence I've just forgotten. It's probably someone I play a lot as well :P.
You would be searching for the Scholar, the wobbly yellow stuff is the philosopher's stone
I believe Paul is citizen dare
This. Definitely going with this.
I believe Paul is citizen dare
I'm afraid that's not correct.
FTFY
Fun fact: During the Rook City Kickstarter, my dear spouse hoped to surprise me with the gift of getting to be on a card in the expansion. Only problem was that I bought the same for myself, so we both ended up on cards.
Spouse does not actually enjoy board/card games, but has, despite this, volunteered for GtG. Here we are at PAX Aus 2014: http://www.spatzel.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=37773
That is awesome
True fact:
Jodi was going to be one of Chairman's underbosses, but everytime they shipped a game all that arrived was an empty box and a laugh track.
Everytime I see Profane Zealot in a deck, i groan and just want to punch him in the face. Hard (that damage reduction is a pain!) And that's why i got no mirrors.
I love the ones for Fanatic, Scholar, Haka, Wraith and the Sentinels. Even Sky-Scraper's isn't too shabby!
I remembered that that yellow wibbly one was the Scholar about an hour and a half after making the post, as I was walking along the High Street to work...
I know that domain name from someplace else, but can't quite be sure off hand. Were either you or Dr. Mrs. Arenson ever involved in Wheel of Time fandom, especially the usenet group?
After playing an incredibly awesome fight against Deadline in Rook City as The Visionary, I couldn't help but notice that my nemesis symbol for her didn't give her a big enough cranium or bold enough brain waves. After some late night tinkering I came up with this!

And here's a comparison between the old and the new.

Obligatory "I like big brains in the key of Mixalot" joke.
Nope.
Do you play Amber? Harry Potter journal games?
Amber might be it, or at least Amberway. I was a lurker for a while in the House of Cards game run by Michael Croft & Ginger Stampley. Got to meet them shortly after they moved to New Jersey while I was in Philly for a professional conference.
Edit to fix a name goof that I should know better than to have committed in the first place.
That's it. My spouse plays Folly and keeps the logs on spatzel.net
Paul is Legacy. Maybe Iron Legacy.
Ladies, gentleman, forumites and fellow deities (I'm looking at you Ronway and >G and Dice Hate Me world builders!)
More Villains! I apologize for only having the side view of Man-Grove, it didn't look good. I'll give it another shot!
The villains for Chrono Ranger and Argent Adapt were quite tough!
Hooray! It's GloomWeaver!
I’m actually very very proud how he turned out!
I’m glad you like!
Decided to give my Wraith actress the same treatment I did for Tachyon. :)
I hope you keep these up, its a whole other kind of fan art! ![]()
I'm glad you like them, I'm going to do my best. I have way less experience editing still photographs than I do with video, but it's a fun little diversion from working on my larger sentinels video project. I like learning new skills, and this was a fun way to learn photoshop.
I'm slightly dissapointed by the bored expression she has there, but it's overall very well done!
We were going for "serious, but collected" sort of like page 14 of the Freedom Four Annual, and other times in cards where Wraith seems annoyed at dealing with team members. I've always been a fan of "put upon Wraith". Almost "April Ludgate"-esque. But I can see where you are coming from. The video should avoid that issue since she's more active in that.
Also, here is Mister Fixer. There are a few costume tweaks to take care of before we film the video, this was just a shot from the costume test, but I had some down time and I enjoy making these live-action cards to learn photoshop.
Chrono-Ranger, hot off the press!
I may go in later and widen his hat a bit and add longer hair.
A quick sketch to start off the day.
Paul was delighted to meet Devra's latest creation:
Ha!
Throw him a jelly bean!
I love that one of Legacy and Champion Bot! It'd be fun to see all of the heroes reactions to their respective bots.
Sejixs is doing a request from another thread. We’ll see more freedom bots. So far, she’s done Bunker, Wraith, and Legacy.
Surely we must also get one of the Insula Primalis raptors reacting to their bot alternatives as well? ;)
What is a good drawing program for tablets, iPad and surface pro.
I'm sorry, but I have no idea. I always thought you had to buy them with the program already on it. Maybe one of the other forumites will know.
I personally just hand draw the outlines of the art pieces, scan them in, and photoshop the color. This is also probably why it takes me so long to post something.
I would recommend Manga Studio and Sketchbook Pro, both of which are on the cheaper end of illustration software. Also ArtRage for mimicking traditional media. With the Surface, it works flawlessly once you install the Wacom tablet driver, and I'd recommend a Wacom stylus for it as well. For iPad, Sketchbook and ArtRage as well, and Wacom also makes a stylus supported on iPad. However, don't expect as good of results from the iPad. It's not pressure sensitive, and even programming the brushes to simulate it only goes so far. Hope that helps! :)
thanks a lot Adam. I will be checking them out.
So fellow sentinel fans. I apologize for taking a break, work, extra activites came up. But i think the wait is worth it with the newest iterations Shattered Timeline Villains!
I hope you enjoy.
Gods. Every time I see these sprites, I want this to be a real game.
Seconded!
Thanks guys!
I'm not too proud of my Cosmic Omnitron though not enough good angles for me... I also might update Akash'bhuta, but haven't decided.
It could probably be done in RPG maker if anyone wanted to take the time to invest in its creation.
Half the fun would be running around convincing characters to join your team. It would be amazing.
I imagine the FF/Chrono style quest to get Ryan Frost to wear the suit would be incredibly fun.
I made a Perler version of Pixel Lincoln's Bunker for Nielzabub when he visits The States again! I also updated my design for Bunker's nemesis symbol! The new one is on the right.
Dude, these look awesome!!
That is awesome!
Hey guys! Well, we've made some more progress with the radio play recently. I've played a bit with making a motion comic out of the audio I have, so here's part of the final scene of the Freedom Four Annual Number 1.
Hi folks - here's my interpretation of Wraith. I've been a fan of the Multiverse for a while now but this is my first post on the forum.
Hope you like it!
Awesome!
Welcome to the forums!
That's really great IanA! Thanks for sharing, and welcome - glad to have you!
That's awesome looks almost like a character From Arkham Knight or something. Welcome!
Wow, that’s a great take on her!
Welcome to the forums IanA! That's a really cool style!
Tachyon might have had...difficulties with her bot.

Ha!
^.^
When you’re moving that fast, it’s hard to see what you’re Sucker Punching, right?
On another note, the game Awesomenauts shows fan art of its characters on the loading screens. Wouldn’t that be a cool addition to the Sentinels game (with artists’ permission, obviously)?
Absolute Zero found a surprise outside of his cryo chamber.
It took me months but I finally finished all of the F5 meeting their bots!
Great job! Thank you!
That would be neat.
Particularly like the cryobot one
Anytime! ![]()
I hope this is the proper place to put this, but I decided to make the Improptu Invention
"Wait, when did I make this thing?"

Since I can't go to GenCon, I actually sent it there with some friends, so maybe it'll show up in some cosplay pics :P
Nice! Now all you need is the Imbued Vitality version.
That'll probably be just adding an eye to the opposite side.
That looks great!
Fanatic: Where are we?
Expat: Shoot first, ask later.
Not the happiest about the villians and the number of them (will probably someday rework this). I don't know how to do large crowds in drawings. If I did, that's what I would have loved to done for this piece. Hope you like it phantaskippy!
I apologize for the very very long delay, but I have added new flip sides to other villains, and added a few new ones!
Hope you enjoy!
Don't worry ronway, your guy will be there.
Ladies, gentlemen and fellow Sentinel fans.
I am happy to announce that (ALMOST) all the released, non-Tactics characters have been spritified. There is one arena alternate, and one villain of the multiverse
I have the following things left (in no particular order)
0) Add Highbrow, Choke,
1) Tactics
2) Arena alternatives
3) Vilains of the Multiverse characters
4) Special targets in decks (minions, devices, cultists)
5) Pull off an enhanced edition
Hope you enoy!
I compeltely fogot Higbrow and Choke (from Vengeance).
That's awesome!
Hi again. Here's my second offering, following my earlier picture of Wraith (post #452). It's a bit of a hybrid between the original costume and Sentinels Tactics with some additional embellishments and interpretations. Somewhat fittingly, it obviously draws inspiration from 'inspiring presence'.
My girlfriend and I tend to play with a pretty consistent team of Legacy, Wraith, Bunker and Tachyon so I'm working my way through the team with some pictures. Tachyon's up next. Bunker's going to be hard so saving that till last!
Again, hope you like it.
That's so cool! I can't wait to see Tachyon and Bunker!
Hi guys! Here's a tattoo design/fanart I created based off the Naturalist!
I don't know how I want to color it, so if anyone would like to have a go at it, that would be awesome!
Hope you guys like it!
Very nice.
That’s a good Legacy, IanA. I have to say I like your Wrath interpretation a bit better, personally. There’s something funny to me about a Legacy who can put his arms down! Of course, Legacy with muscles on his muscles would look patently ridiculous in real life.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I like how Wraith came out as well. I was kind of doing the pictures imagining they'd cast SOTM The Movie so was attempting a more realistic look. Legacy's physique in the game artwork is pretty extreme. It works well for the comic book style but I had to tone it down in mine - it looked pretty terrifying otherwise!

Havn't posted in a while. Here you go.
Awesome sketch
Wow, "Done being a dream". Awesome.
That's really great, Maniac0013s. Yeah, love the text in the background. Thanks for sharing this -- it's a wonderful sketch!
The words are more powerful than the drawing, and the drawing is impressive on its own!
Nicely done!
Took a while, but we managed to finish it. Here's a link to the Freedom Four Annual #1 motion comic.
Awesome work

(Seriously, that's awesome -- love it!)
Wow!
Wow cool, that's epic :D. You did misspell "Indestructible" but the picture itself is epic ;).
Bunker, the newest space marine.
Nice blend of the Sentinels card art with the Tactics mini!
Hi, me again. I've been working on pictures of Tachyon and Bunker to complete my Freedom Four collection. Here's an interpretation of Bunker with omnicannon in full flow.
Let me know what you think.
![]()
Well spotted! Now corrected. Spelling is clearly not my strong point…
Nice work!
Wow, these are awesome IanA and Nielzabub!
I made some Damage Token Coasters.

Hope y'all like them.
Nice!
Those really are awesome!
That's super awesome!
Do you switch coasters as your drink gets lower?
…if so, which way do you go?
If you start without a coaster, then you would go from lowest to highest (started at 0!). Otherwise I'd recommend starting at highest and going lower as the beverage is consumed.
I thought the number is the alcohol % of the beverage.
While I understand the concept of Coaster I generally just end up flinging them people who make bad jokes within throwing range... I do not like the idea of adding to their HP when I do so!
Excellent work on them all the same!
Depending on the alcohol content of the beverage, one would assume the drinker becomes incapacitated as the drink is consumed. I'd say the HP is an indication of their tolerance before passed out.
I'm sure you could use those coasters for drinking game shenanigans. "Sorry, Brad, but you just took five shots of tequila damage."
I'm assuming that's you I saw on the Blend Sejixs. Either that or one of you blantantly ripped of the other's coster idea.
Nice to include Sentinels in games you are thankful for episode.
Yeah, that's her. ![]()
Yeah, it's me. I didn't know that anyone on the forum watched the blend! :D
I have never heard of the Blend. What's the Blend?
Board Game Blender from Dice Tower.
Hi. Me again. It's been a while but here's my take on Tachyon, to complete my Freedom Four collection. Not quite as pleased with it as with some of the others - kind of ran out of inspiration I think.
Group picture on the way next...
Her build reminds me of T2 Sarah Connor. Possibly because I was watching it this morning.
After a very long break, I was inspired and made more sprites! Termination Bunker was a paaaaain.
I apologize, I haven;t gotten arround to update Voss's minions
Next on my list
1) Infinitor and Kismet Promos
2) Villains of the Multiverse
3) Nemeses in Villains of the Multiverse
4) Minions, henchmen, drones, citizens, etc.... in decks
5) Environemnt targets
I would play this video game so much.
Thanks! But i think Square-Enix might have issue with that… If i had the skill, and the time, i would make the other positions of them, but, "stupid" GtG creating so many characters, it's just… a daunting task! Do they know how much work I need to do to keep up with it? I mean… It's really a firts-world problem methinks.
Hi. With all the Oblivaeon / Tom Cosing excitement over the last couple of months, I forgot to post where I ended up with my Freedom Four project. Here it is - kinda my homage to Rooftop Combat. Hope you like it.
Very cool!
Terrific! I particularly like that rendition of the Bunker suit.
And nevermind, I suck at making things work on the internet.
No art here to see.
Image isn't working. :(
Aww! If at first, you don’t succeed…
Decided to try a different style for this little project of Argent Adept rocking out. This was inspired by a comment Killswitch made in another forum post. Hope y'all like it!
Edit: I'm so sorry, I forgot that it's suppose to be an electric guitar and not his classic instrument! I will draw a new version of this with it corrected!
Just a guess, but would this happen to be about the Death Metal Adept in the Kaarga spoiler/AMA?
Not sure if that was Killswitch, but...
Also, still no progress on the game? RPGmaker is an option. I would definitely do this if i had cash left over from the ks
fun!
Wife requested fan-art of me as my favorite character, Captain Cosmic, for our 1 year anniversary. This girl gets me.
Source: http://byronmosley.tumblr.com/post/144170104375/bowie-sessions-is-captain-cosmic-unlock-the-real

Awesome.
Ha! Nice -- very well done.
Very cool.
Big ass head Young Legacy/Beacon.
Very nice.
Inspired by the incap art on Completionist Guise, I wanted to see more ‘hero costume shirts’. And make myself a CC one.
I made a few other designs too.
I think this qualifies as fan art, anyway…
Definitely! Very shiny!
I would wear any of those. Actually, a line of tanks like that would be ideal for workouts.
Or for taking over other countries.
Well, I'd love to design up one for most heroes and some villains -- tanktop variants would work for most (my plans for Agent of Gloom Spite and Bunker require shoulders, tho), though some fit tanktops fit the designs for the heroes better than others. Tachyon and Ex-Pat basically demand tanktops, after-all.
Since I don't have authorization to make products with these copyrights, though, not sure how legal it is for me to do more than design them! But expect me to work some more designs up.
If there's a specific request, let me know. Otherwise, this is the order I'll probably slog through, give or take inspiration:
Heroes:
Tempest (long sleeve with freckled green arms) [by request]
Dark Watch Nightmist [by request]
Guise [by request]
Argent Adept
The Naturalist
Chrono-Ranger
Omnitron-X
Parse
Fanatic
Setback
The Sentinels team logo from Adamant variant
Scholar tattoos from Incap
KNYFE (variant KNYFE?)
Akash’thriya of the Void
GI Bunker details with Bunker patch on shoulder
Benchmark
DW Mr. Fixer
Villains:
Vengeance/Tactics/Luminary Blade
Wager Master

There’s a lot of designs that just don’t work like this in an iconic t-shirt design way that strikes me. I have a list of other ideas for 90% of the other characters that’d be good in-universe fan shirts I could see designed, like just the big telepathy icon of Visionary’s filling a shirt, so on-- but I want to try the “costume shirt” line first until I get tired of it.
Base Unity, DW Mister Fixer and base Nightmist.
I will do DW Mister Fixer.
Here's your Base Nightmist:

Here's your Base Unity:

Enjoy.
NOW LET ME MAKE ART OKAY.
Friend requested I do Tempest, but with sleeves, color of Tempest's skin. I guess, sure.
But I tried it then as a tanktop.
Decided to make AA and Guise as tanktops too.
Nightmist and Naturalist lose important details going to Tanktop, sadly.
I like them! The Tempest t-shirt works well, I think.
The AA t-shirt looks like a large axe to me.
Awesome shirts!!
I suspect it will not look as axe like when worn. Especially since people rarely keep their arms fully extended out like the shirt does there. ![]()
that said, he does know how to tear it up on an axe! Anyway, the back of that shirt would be all black, to make it look more like his cape.
Yes, that’s an unusual instrument of the void…
And my favorite yet, and the product of waaaay too much work…
Chrono Ranger is nice, I mean you can see the work you put into it and all, but it should really only have one sleeve.
I see several of these I'd buy (as tees) if they were available legit. Hint, hint, hint...
The Guise tee isn’t rendering right for me. The picture never changes.

Draging this out for suspense. Day 1 of the Deck of Cards. This counts as fan art, right? Speculation for future tricks is welcome and hoped for!
I suppose it's morning so... Day 2!

Kinda dissapointed at the amount of speculation going on... :-( Ah well. Day 3 coming soon!
I'm guessing Guise is the Joker.
Yeah, there's not enough context to make further guesses on what is to be expected, since we've only got a small smattering of samples.
But with the one-hero, one-villain theme, I'm guessing Wager Master for the other Joker!
Well, you know the kings are Legacy and Baron Blade…
In that case, the Suicide King would be the Mad Bomber.
I would have guessed Setback and Kismet as 7s, so I guess I’m wrong already. I’ll guess Tachyon and Matriarch as Queens though. Maybe Mr. Fixer as a Jack… he does have a Jack Handel. Ummm… Apostate as a 6 feels like it would be fitting. Maybe Captain Cosmic and Infinitor are 4’s since thier targets have 4 health.
…Ok That’s it for my wild speculation.
Now reasons: Guise and WagerMaster are the jokers of the entire multiverse, kings are the icons, queens was the first female character i thought of all of these are nemwses. In hindsight, I shoudlve given Setbac/K/ismet 7 but Setback was my favorite option for ace.Apostate wouldve been good as 6 but Fanatic wouldv'e killed me. 2,3 and 5 were filler, characters i wanted but couldnt find a number for. 4 southwest sentinels for the 4, instant for me.
Southwest Sentinels as 4: Love it!
I want this deck!
I feel it would be more thematically appropriate to have the heroes on the hearts.
Inspires me to want to make a deck of cards, but more team-themed. Baron Blade and his Vengeful team on, say, Spades, and the Freedom Five on Hearts, with the Prime Wardens on Diamonds and ... some other villain group on Clubs...
But I need to finish my other fan-art projects first! Tons of shirts left to design, and a few custom things I wanna do still.
I took my favorite red suit and favorite black suit and made them heroes, and gave the rest to villains.
Argent adept has how many instuments?
Will be 2 days late because of vacation without internet access, be back later.
Glad this is inspiring you guys! I used MakePlayingCards.com Really helpful.
Spite has 5 drugs, so he’s a good fit for 5.
Aces are taken, so will ChronoRanger be on the 8s?
Wait, how many bots does she have? F5, bee, platform, Chomps... Please tell me I'm right.
Shouldn't it be Omnitron-X opposite Omnitron?
Probably, but my picture database is limited. I dont even know how I got these pictures, so I wasnt going to risk it on any more.
YOU ARE RIGHT!
Thought you guys might appreciate this meme I made for our local group here.
So it HAS been a WHILE. But... I made more.
Powerhound might be especially happy :)
I will not post any info from playtester material. I still have a LOT more to do.

Everytime more get added I am sadder about the non-existence of the SotM 8-bit RPG game.
You know…devlopment at that level isn't too difficult. Look into it and make the game you want to see! ![]()
So.... I was inspired by the cosmic contest to do something pretty neat (or so I think).
I'm still working on how t do the cases. But let me know what you think!
You were right, that is pretty neat!
Those are super adorable! I'd love to see more. :D
Man, this is just giving me ALL the SNES RPG flashbacks.
I made a thing and I want to share! Hope you enjoy!

I need the ability to like posts.
Wow! That looks so good!
Good job! Specially liked the dynamic pose you gave Wraith. That's also some good background, moody and detailed without being too busy.
That was a great image there, Velvetisis!
And, oh, THIS is where the fan art forum was hiding all this time. :)
I may have indulged just a bit too much in SotM fan art this Inktober.
...
Hum. Why won’t any of my attempts to link to one of my images show up?
Poking through the page code, it looks like the forum is trying to display it as an embedded image but can’t because it’s a link to Google’s wrapper webpage rather than the actual image. I think you’d have to either manually create an actual link to the wrapper webpage or make sure you’re embedding the actual image file (if the URL has PNG or JPG it’s more likely you found the direct URL to use).
Like this one:
“Fall of Ra”

Ah ha! I figured it out!
"Nightmist":
"Lights Out"

"Freedom 5(yr olds?)"

Skottie Young style impression...
"Mr. Fixer and the Operative"

Cool pics - I like the "Shadows are coming to get you" Spirit Island pic >:). No-one seems to do any fan-art for Spirit Island, now that I think about it. I wrote a poem at some point, if that counts (it's creative, right? So it's still art :D). But there's so much imagery and stuff that you could get there, I'm sure plenty of people can draw super-cool stuff of various elemental/natural forces smashing up colonists and stuff :D.
"Expatriette and Mom"

“Fire Pupper, saver of Bacon”

“The Last Maerynian”

“I always believed in you”

“Mist-borne Memories”
“Mist-borne Memories” - Digital colors done in Procreate
“Extremeverse!”
And lastly...
“Fall of Ra” - Digital colors in Procreate
ObliVAeon still looks goofy in Fall of Ra (though a bit less so in the color version) but the Extreme-verse one is just cool.
This thread has gotten really exciting all of a sudden! :D
I agree, more Extremeverse -- especially Xtreme Freedom Five -- is warranted.
There is a thing I'd love to do with the Xtreme Freedom Five story. I think it would be really cool to have an "ashcan" comic made from that story. I started laying down some sketches, building on the one page I did for Inktober, but keep overwhelming myself with it. Just have to turn it into a challenge for myself, I guess. :)
That Extremeverse page is super cool! I love that extreme road warrior Legacy.
The colored version of Mistborne Memories is excellent, too. Great job.
Thanks! My brain’s been clogged and anti-arting since Inktober finished, but I have hopes I can get back into it again soon. I really have a lot more I’d like to do with the ideas in TLP’s Xtremeverse episode. ![]()
Oh. Those are awesome! I love the minimalist style of the F5 and Blade.
Guise is always a good idea. :D
Those are great! :-D
Hello! Thought I'd introduce myself. I've been a huge fan of SotM for about a week now, and I'm looking to get involved.
Heres a doodle I did of Haka, for your amusement.
I've been drawing Sentinels Heroes (official, and otherwise) for a few weeks now, posting five or so images each Friday over on one of the Discord channels. I figured the folks here might want to see them as well, so here's the seven official Heroes I've completed so far. (You're getting the first look at Absolute Zero as he's for this Friday's Discord post.)
Nice art, Yak Guardian. I can’t quite make out what Guise’s chest emblem is. . .
I had this commissioned from the artist Felox08 on Deviant Art a while back. I know I have an account on another email I can’t get the password of easily (so just started this new one).
I would say it’s mildly NSFW but I’m also not particularly clear on that and am told my tastes are very tame. (might be due to being ace despite liking shipping) Was just a random bit of shipping pic nothing serious, but I like how they both came out.
