Legacy's wife?

Simple question with a simple answer: Who is Felicia’s mother?

Mrs. Parsons.

What is her occupation?

lol, I’d be satisfied with that. Perhaps Christopher let slip more than he was intending. Assuming that’s accureate, we know several things we didn’t before.

1. Felecia has a mother, and is not lab grown, mutated from Legacy’s genetic stock, etc.
2. Felecia’s mother was Legacy’s wife, Legacy is/was married.
   2b, It could be the case that Felecia is the daughter of an entirely unrelated Mrs Parsons, but that seems unlikely. 2c She could however, actually be his niece (daughter of his brother) and Legacy’s adopted daughter, which would largely negate 1&2.

I think Felicia has to be Legacy’s actual child (not niece or some such) because of the way the Legacy powers are passed on from generation to generation in the oldest child of the current Legacy. Given the All-American-Heroness of Legacy, my guess is that he is happily married and that his wife has no powers, but is super nice and smart and bakes cookies but would totally pull a shotgun on you if you tried to hurt her daughter.

You do realize that the US leads the world in divorce rates, don’t you? I don’t think there’s anything more all-american than a good custody battle.

I believe it is meant the “ideal” American when refering to Legacy, not the “typical” American. I much doubt a divorced couple is ideal for any people.

I don’t know, my ideal is for divorce and be a wild and crazy guy since I haven’t yet to do so… Just kidding though. So glad she doesn’t come on here.

I think it would be fun if Legacy’s wife was also a super hero or ex hero who gave it up after being with child, thus opening the doors for an awesome Parson trio battle against Baron Blade. Doubt it will happen but would be cool.

I didn’t expect such analysis on such a simple and literally (currently) non-existant character, but hopefully we’ll learn more about her. I’ve always been curious as to how someone like Legacy goes about courtship. He doesn’t have a secret identity, and I’m assuming he’s been a hero for most of his life, so when did he find the time to go out and meet women? Or was she someone he rescued and got to know more? Then again, maybe he just met her when he was younger and not fighting crime.

I love the idea of this - there’s High School aged Paul trying to live a normal life (even though his dad is a super hero and he’s destined to become one as well) and they fall in love, and then his powers manifest and it’s awkward, but love conquers all! She stands by him when his dad dies and he is forced to take on the Legacy mantle earlier than he would have wanted (maybe when Felicia is a baby? Oooh, better yet, right before she’s born - her grandfather never got to see her). I can see a very cinematic origin/love story for the current Legacy.

Ah, but you’ve tapped into the beauty of SotM: Story and character. That’ll generally get our interest up, as it is - at least for me - one of the key reasons I play.

I’m just gonna assume they met in high school or college. That seems more likely than: “Oh! I’ve saved your life! How do you feel about dinner?”

I wonder how young Legacy was when Baron Blade killed his father. If it happened young enough, I could see him shying away from non-powered women for fear of endangering their lives through association (like in every other Spider-Man/Mary Jane storyline). Would make some sense that information is so limited because she might be a playable character somewhere down the road. That’d be groovy.

Another question about family: who is Expatriette’s father? Dawn would be a hell of a wife to handle…

You know, on second thought, I’m not sure if I want to know the man who has/had a relationship with Dawn. The implications are just terrifying. He could probably kill with a nasty stare, and he doesn’t need to be a demigod like Ra to do it.

To be fair, Expatriette’s father was in the first draft of Citizen Dawn’s deck. He was cut out in the first round of playtesting, however.

Timeline-wise, that must have been when Citizen Dawn killed him for not providing her with powerful offspring.

Unless I see the body, I won’t believe he’s dead. This is comic books after all.

And even if I see the body, I can’t rule out that he’s dead.

And since he’s invisible and all, we can’t ever declare he’s dead.

Speaking seriously for a moment, I’d love to see that card, if any form of it or of his art still survives.

Yeah, I’d love to see him too, unless of course he’ll be coming back later. If he was going to be in Dawn’s deck, was he supposed to be one of the citizens?

I’m wondering if Expat’s father was the one that convinced Dawn to stop hiding from humanity and to begin forming the Citizen’s of the Sun.
If he actually did feature in early playtests I am going to guess he was called “Dusk” and he interacted with Dawn’s ability in someway.

I am so glad that the conversation turned to Dawn and Expatriette. I have been curious a long time about how Expatriette came to be, since Dawn was always hiding away from people until she began to get rallied into Leader of the Dawn Brigade. Ew. Now I’m thinking about Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Anyway, the light slowly being shed on the Citizen family is amusing to say the least. And to hear that Daddy Dawn was actually around long enough to potentiall BE a Citizen is mindblowing. I would have assumed he’d last a year or two, tops, before she killed him for…whatever reason.

Perhaps when they say he hasn’t been seen yet they are referring to the fact that the T-Rex card doesn’t have a picture on it.

Christopher does state that justa few post ago that she killed him for not providing a powerful offspring. It’s a real shame, that Citizen Dawn sure is a pretty crazy one indeed. Glad I wasn’t her boy toy.

Considering how preoccupied Dawn is with supers and their powers, I can only imagine she selected the best and brightest from her Citizens to be used to create her ultimate offspring. I would be surprised if this mysterious father went down without a brutal, bloody fight.
