Very cool. Adrianna is one of my favorite characters. I hope you keep posting these, I am especially curious how Tempest and Visionary evolved. I wonder if some of Citizens are drawings of real people you know.
Thanks

Yeah, the B&B (not bed and breakfast) was to test her out without the cloak, which obviously didn’t work.
I’ll get some other characters on here, though Visionary’s one that didn’t change much start to finish.

Tempest, Bunker, and Absolute Zero are ones I would be really, really interested in seeing the development of. I’m still really excited for all the other characters too.

It’s been said, but also worth noting that Citizen Hammer and Citizen Anvil are Christopher and I, based on characters we’d created previously.

I’m gonna take a guess and say that Voss is modeled after Chris’s mom. (Oh snap!)
For the next expansion, will you all be doing the same thing with people giving a certain amount and having their face on a significant card? Don’t tell anyone, but if so, I think I may save up money and request my girlfriend be made into one. (It’s a secret!)

Voss is actually named for Christopher’s roommate. Not visually though.
There are some openings still for the MUGSHOT reward on the Kickstarter. They may not be ‘significant’ cards, but every card is important.

I did notice the name “Voss” in the inside of the instruction booklet, so I figured it was a friend.

Should we ever see a ‘dark world’ in the multiverse, I think that the rendition of wraith on the right of the second picture would be a great way for a dark-wraith to look, tattered cape and all.
I wish someone would start writing some fan-fics about the multiverse…

That is a purposeful misspelling based on the way we like to say “Rocket Launcher” when being silly.

Well It’s not quite fan fics, but my brain goes on kicks where it tries to assign most of the music I hear to some fandom or another of mine. I have piles of music for some of the SotM characters (either things that they would listen to or things that fit with them thematically for some reason), that I was thinking of posting as mix cd lists once I get them a bit more organized.
Some characters are harder than others. I have 3 songs on my Expatriette playlist and 4 on Absolute Zero vs a CD worth for Tachyon and Wraith.

When I get a few moments, I’ll try and get all of it up here, ideally as expansions are released. In the meantime:
These were my original designs for Voss’ Gene-Bound slaves, you can see a few things I ended up keeping and when you see the Enhanced Edition you may be surprised.
I’m partial to the guy in the lower left, who ended up going through mitosis and turning into Lt. Vyktor and the Gene-Bound Soldier.

Very nice, I was wondering if more concept art would over be posted. So Enhanced Edition’s Gene-Bound slaves may be altered in some way? I am looking foward to seeing all the new artwork featured all the cards. You’re doing great Adam.

Yeah…
To be honest, I can’t think of a whole lot of cards in the original that need revamping. There were a few that didn’t have the same style as the rest of the cards, but I can’t think of anything that was actually not good in any way.

It’s interesting that you mention this. I just noticed last night, while playing as Haka, that his art seems a little more “cartoony” than the others. Wasn’t sure if it was intentional or not.

Mr. Fixer is wicked cool. Have you guys ever considered selling Rook City ball caps on your website? I’d buy one.
Also, in regards to fan-fiction, I do have a friend who has written some short stories about various members of the Freedom Five. I haven’t read them yet, but I imagine they are a lot of fun!

I might just have to do the same thing, JayMann. I'd love a Rook City cap. Or just one or two more shirts with select heroes on them.
Also, how about some more concept art up in here? I love seeing original concepts. I think I remember Christopher once saying that Absolute Zero went through some heavy changes. Got any old concepts of him?
