This cover rocks.

I need to be nicer to my knees, I still have a huge bruise on one that I don’t remember getting. c_c;

Oh, they’ve never talked about this foe on the air before? So Calypso is actually Busybody?\ then.

lmao, Indiana Jones was inspired by Ra? XD

Who knew Calypso and Wipeout were the same person all this time?

Oh, she plays Calypso in a movie? Okay, this character is way more fun than I could have imagined, I like this a lot.

Collapso is a really good name for a Silver Age villain with a dumb gimmick.

“I’m Calypso! I sing to your spirit! The men who have served me so long and so well!”

Can Ra run out of fire?

She’s the only villain who wants to be a-Nile-ated. She’s clearly in de-Nile!

Wow, so you can drink Calypso, but you can’t drink Guise? Double-standard much???

Don’t come between a sun god and his cupcakes. 8| Cupcakes are serious business.

It wasn’t really Segaeiuodoth, it was Old Man Apostate in a rubber mask! Again!

And then when the Aeon Bears get their mitts on Aeon Berry Juice, all bets are off.

I feel like WolfTek should be the answer to Oblivaeon…

Gumbo becomes a hero, confirmed.

Justice for Schleep-Schlorp! LMAO, Christopher literally said it as I was typing this! XD

It me!

They joke, but I would legitimately enjoy catching those references in Sentinels.

Painstake’s mom as a scion is a great concept, damn. And an equally good reason not to have her to do it, that’s pretty unusual.

“So, you’re the ancient god Soguaiedoth, huh?”
“Oh, I definitely am.”
“Spell it.”

(For funsies, I typed that from memory. Time to go check…)

Glad Adam noted the Sunset Blvd parallels, because I was thinking that the whole time.

Calypso! Finally! She’s been my number one “character who C&A have said practically nothing about” forever.

I had the idea that with Apostate pretending to be “unspellable eldritch abomination” that Wager Master would show up pretending to be Apostate.

Golden Calf isn’t a bad name for an energy drink, but Brazen Bull is way better.

Calypso’s story ends in Bugbear’s stomach; I think if he ever returns from Ur-Space for longer than the few moments he was in Cosmic Contest, there’s a fair chance that whatever accomplice threw the Nile water on her statue form, that guy could come back and get Bugbear to sweat her out or puke her back up.

Missed opportunity at the end of Earthstrong’s letter to be like “watch out for your nemesis Airweak!”

Ra’s cupcake hour is definitely canon…in the Guise book.

The big problem with all the new Scions is that none of them seem to have two different modes that they would flip between. You could kludge things like Bjornson throws an axe once and immediately transforms, or where Sgaiedoth reveals it’s true form, but those are pretty weak compared to the printed EE scions.

I think Alpha wouldn’t have much to do in the OblivAeon event, but Tabitha Taft would have a ton to do, reporting live from the end times and getting the word out about how the heroes need all the help they can get from literally anyone who can do literally anything to help. This isn’t a battle for Wolf woman, but for wolf Woman.
