I liked the part where the Patreon listeners were revealed to be somehow abnormal. :V

No, but seriously, that final twist Christopher came up with, it's like... PTSD, Stockholm Syndrome, and the fact that they were all aware of everything that had been happening since the hive mind took over. Wow. I'll never look at Orrim Hiveminded the same way.

This almost reminded me of the Captain Cosmic story "Welcome Home", delineated in the Cosmic Tales ep.

Not a bad thing, mind you, but a very similar take...

They actually mentioned a Captain Cosmic story in the episode. Was that the one?

Yep, that's exactly what they were talking about.

Retconning the Voss Disparation, I strongly disagree with their off the cuff decision to use Apostate in place of Ambuscade. He’s not even properly human, and he’s an arch-villain, not just a troublemaker like Ansel. It should have been someone more along the lines of, like, well okay characters that premiere before the 80s really limits it so I can’t actually come up with anything that I’m sure works, but someone along the lines of Char or Arsonator.

Ah, the return of the ATM Machine joke. The version of that from the Benchmark episode, which Justifier said was one of his favorite bits, I can now definitely confirm is THE single favorite bit of the whole podcast up to this point for me.

Pretty sure this was the first episode ever where C&A read a letter and then flatly refused to answer it at the time. And then they did it twice in a row!

They’re discussing covers!:rofl::rofl: That joke was great and I completely forgot about it.
