So in a recent episode, a letter writer wrote in asking about a world in which the powers of the heroes and villains were inverted, and that actually gave me some pretty cool ideas

Benchmarch, instead of being a corporate backed hero with a cutting edge super suit, is a crowd funded online hero fan calling back to the golden age when the heroes were just better then all these crappy Johnny come lately and uses the money to remake old gadgets and gimmicks as the hero Throwback

Absolute zero now wears a suit to limit the burning inferno inside from making his environment deadly to everyone else as Melting Point.

Legacy is the latest in a line of demi-gods stretching back into the annuals of history who has arisen time and again to save the world, but each generation sacrifices a bit of power, losing one ability the pervious one had while needing to struggle against ever worsening odds

Fanatic would be a nihalistic solipsimist who "dose not belive in anything" and can ignore anything she dose not want to pay attention to

Setback of course would just be lucky 

cult of gloom would be trying to send the entity home instead of summon 

instead of fear it would be being of ecstatic joy, still dangerous, causing recklessness and distraction

the cult would not worship it, it would be like a sheep they would collect magic wool then send it back and wait for it to return collect and send it back to the feild

Wraith would be a celebrity able to make people pay attention to her 

Visionary would be time traveler from the past tryinh to stop a bad future caused by her descendants- Physical power house instead of psionics

instead of Ra God of the sun we would have Nyx goddess of night

Tempest would be Tremor an earth/stone shaper creating earth quakes, rock walls and throwing boulders 

Night Mist could be a tech hero with a rainbow aura force feild 

Idealist would be a psychic leach drawing creativity and initative from targets ( she could still be a hero- a thug wants to fight but forgets to draw his gun )

Medico could be a necrotic ghost

Writhe would be a living beam of light 

instead of big and strong Mainstay could be intangible 

instead of a big guy in a dumb animal suit Hippo we could have a little guy in a dumb anima suit Tick Bird

oposite power Unity is Miss Hap played by Chris the GTG playtest manager in the GTG season 2 RPG and the GenCon 2019 RPG 

reverse Omnitron would be a giant ameba bio-mass 

oposite Voss instead of genetic manipulation as a mad scientist would be a psychologist cult leader using brainwashing, and indoctrination to transform his followers on a mental level allowing them to surpass their normal limits and obey Voss to the death 

Instead of being a shapeshifter and minor reality warper, Joseph King cannot be changed in any way, to the point of being immune to all forms of physical or mental harm. Lacking any other powers of his own, he's surprisingly creative in finding ways to solve problems by throwing himself into situations that would kill a normal person, or even a Legacy.

reverse Marjorie Mittermier would be Tourist an unasuming unremarkable granny with a magic ticket that gets her in to any location or event with payed admission

backwards Scholar would be Student a skill mimic quick learner that gets trained by every hero he can meet. And of course by mentoring young Johnny they learn to better them selves, his journry will never end he will never become a master but he helps where he can and brings out the best in others 

oposite day Parse instead of a living computer could be a mechanical machine as a person able to turn off he brain and perception going on auto pilot ignoring pain, emotions, exhaustion, and any feints or distractions 

inverse power Naturalist could have a collection of awakened animal familliars, not a man becoming a beast but beasts becoming like men 

Profesor Purification could be mini nemisis and ex GF of inverse Naturalist. destroying the needed microbes in the human body and the soil used in agriculture also an expert at cleansing crime scenes
