I have to say I like Pluck as a hero name. A shame they all gave up their powers; a good writer could potentially do things with any of them. Like, a really good writer.

And I have to say the diversion about Adam's farty dog was one of the most amusing tangents they've ever gone on.

This story being intentionally bad saddens me, because the story of the Virtuosos fighting AB over the centuries has a lot of the same vibe as the Legacy line, but global and millenia of lost history instead of an American family tree. The four could have grown to become a new window into the past history of these warriors; with AB gone, the Void has a power vacuum and might be a much greater threat.
