Though they went through a lot, this was a nice, meaty episode. I'm so very glad Adam used the Shmeinfeld voice for my letter. :D
Today I learned guns don't kill people, guns kill guns.
And I'm never going to get over Leviathan's supposed Earth name being Zeke. XD
A pretty nasty challenge mode for Gloomweaver would be to play in the Realm of Discord, start him on his flip side, and give him all his relics...
I was thinking about this kind of thing while listening to that letter. :) I'd been contemplating a Celadroch mechanic: You have three rounds as the Relics are played one by one from beneath his character card, and then he flips and you GO.
I like that idea even better!
Well. "Like." ;)
That audio for Champion Studios was amazing.
I am going to vastly improve the dialogue of the Ten Seconds story, as follows
Tachyon: (device on her wrist chimes once, she lifts it to her mouth at blur speed): “Tachyon, go!”
Chrono-Ranger: "Bomb, San Alonzo, ten seconds "
That was second one.
I envision the Stunt Double situation like this: before OA called Rainek into the fight, he was doing some preliminary work on how to apply gene-binding to humans, and the first step was being able to kinda hypnotize people to continuously act in a patterned fashion, so all these people who were working on a movie, he just shows up and gassed them with this brainwashy nerve agent that acts as a Somebody Else’s Problem Field for him, so they just go on making their movie. Then, later, Obli-Voss shows up, the Stunt Double swings on him, and he goes “oh yeah, I forgot about you guys” and takes it relatively in stride; he’s not stupidly arrogant, but at this point he’s absorbed a little of OA’s overconfidence along with his power, so he doesn’t even bother to gene-bind these guys that are already mostly under his control, there’s only the one that even tries anything, and it didn’t actually bother him any, so he just goes back to Megalopolis and deals with FILTER and the heroes and losing.
Crossover idea for SCtRPG and the Ravenloft setting of D&D: replace Count Strahd with Count Morden.
It bugs me that the Mobile Defense Platform does favors for Voss but not for Blade. Mordengrad I’m less bothered about, because that helps all of the core villains apart from Dawn. It’s just a hard environment overall, while MDP is easy most of the time, with Voss as one of the rare exceptions for no good story reason.
I tersely repeat a fan concept I’ve previously explicate elsewhere: the Void is melted reality. To expand further, the Nexus is like the wick of a candle; reality is liquefied by the flame of magic, pulled up into the wick, and burned, generating heat to continue melting reality a little at a time so the flame can still burn and shed light.
