So me and some pals were playing some very random games and the idea of some characters we wish were on a super hero team or on a different team came up. I was wondering if you guys have any of these. If you do post your reasons why, whether story, or play style, or maybe you just ship two certain time travelers. I look foreword to your thoughts.

my wishful team ups include

Prime Warden Ra: I know WHY this one isn't a thing but I just love the idea of Ra joining a team and starting to act a little more friendly towards people and maybe having some bonding moments to lessen conflict with Fanatic. plus it would mean EXTREEEME RA! Just imagine how amazing it would be!

Southwest Sentinels Unity: Not being an official member of the Freedom Five she decides to cut her teeth with the Southwest Sentinels. I think it would be interesting to see her working with a smaller scale team and interacting with the sentinels as she does with the freedom five. I could see her watching Godzilla movies with Idealist or tinkering with Writhe.

Dark Watch Wraith: I think it would be cool for her to be the part time master detective for the Dark Watch. Maybe they request some help in solving a case and she finds a sense of camaraderie to what she used to be working the streets for JUSTICE! Plus I could see some interesting dialogue between the efficient and brilliant Wraith dealing with the super positive but unlucky Setback.

I was going to say how awesome it would be to have Unity and Idealist on a team together and then I realized, oh wait, that's why they're both in my headcanon team.

I have a feeling Christopher and Adam would say Ra is XTREME RA.

And I'm pretty sure Wraith has teamed up with Dark Watch before.  Not officially joining the team, but working with them and appearing in their book.

Wouldn't a Dark Watch Wraith just be Rook City Wraith?

I was under the impression that Rook City Renegades was Dark Watch before Dark Watch was cool.

During my Tales from the Archive stream last night someone challenged me to draw Extreme-verse Ra and I can't wait. I have a growing list of my parody artworks to do so hopefully I'll find some time during one of the Dolphin's Dive or Sentinels Live streams to catch up on those. The last two (Girl Scout Plague Rat and Judge Dredd Kaargra Warfang) were super fun so I'm pretty excited to do more.

I was under the impression that Rook City Renegades was Dark Watch before Dark Watch was cool.

The Rook City Renegades book started in 1984, whereas Volume 1 of Dark Watch started in 1999. And Volume 2 started early 2015!

Well, Tempest doesn't really use his sword as a sword, Fanatic just kinda beats people with the cleaver-like leftover bits of hers, so I keep getting this bit in my head of Mister Fixer trying to teach "Remedial Swordsmanship". That & i use those three a lot so ... Then again comics are not really the right genre for that type of thing...

but it definately happened in the Schoolhouse Sentinels cartoon on MCN ... or whatever Megalopolis' local TV channel is.

So a friend of mine put forth an interesting idea for two.

Dark Watch Mainstay: the need to fill the void during Mister Fixer's death could be filled by the grizzled tank Mainstay. Help show Setback how to properly use his strength and keep order as a seasoned hero. No idea how it would work out geographically or chronologically but it could lead to some cool art.

Freedom Five/Six Dr.Medico: I believe with how talented of a healer he is I could see him being okay with Working with guys like Legacy and Tachyon or even trying to help someone like Absolute Zero initially with his Ice Issues. No idea if this would work geographically or chronologically but I want to see Professor Dr.Medico Phd in a cape!

I feel a bit annoyed at myself now because I'm the one who made the Girl Scout Plague Rat joke except I actually can't remember why I made it or what it was in response to.

They're kicking around on my Twitter somewhere. @denonczd. I can't access Twitter from work but I'll re-post them when I get home tonight. Fair warning, they're not good or finished. Really just doodles but I think they get the idea across.

I think it might have been interesting, if dark, to have a Project Cocoon supehero team - a group that gets hold of young people who start to develop powers, and trains them from Minute 1.

The team is made up of Fanatic, Harpy, the Idealist, and Unity.

Huh.

Every hero character who's developed powers as a child or teenager in Sentinels is a woman. That's a funny little coincidence.

Well presumably the Paul Parsons all started developing their powers as teenagers, since we know Felicia does.  Unless you don't count that because they already know the powers are coming.

Sounds like a job for TALES FROM THE ARCHIVE! Your wish is my command, TakeWalker. The parody art is something I do in response to silly remarks in the Handelabra live chat but I'm happy to do a one-shot collection episode that tells these stories if people are interested in hearing them.

It would be interesting to see some of our favorite heroes as part of the Citizens of the Sun as well,

Citizen Frost: absolute zero is saved from his icy hell by dawn herself and becomes Citizen Frost! It's not really in his character but I want to see the AZ armor in a citizen style!

Yeah, as long as we're dreaming, I'd like to see a full deck for Citizen Dusk (even if just a Vengeance deck).  And all of Dark Watch would have turned out very differently in a Dusk universe--Mr. Fixer would have stayed working for Zhu Long, Nightmist would have focused on purely occult villains, and Setback... well, who knows?  He might have joined the Citizens of the Sun as well, or had some completely different story arc that I can't even guess at.

Oooooh! I would love to plot out a Dusk-verse. When you get down to it that would change so much in scope with The Citizens having a huge base of power!

Another idea for an alternate team member could be Vengeful Five Kismet. Kind of done as a way to get her on her path to becming a right and proper super villain. The assets of Baron Blade and lots of team mates!

I've always played around with a fan team called the Samaritans. They just happen to be passing by, you see - a bunch of good samaritans.

Basically, it's Chrono-Ranger, the Scholar, Sky-Scraper and Guise. I just feel like it suits their slightly more insular nature.

No, that is actually a good point. In this alternate timeline, Legacy could have been taken by Project Cocoon if his father died early.

FWIW there's an XTREME version of every character in the X-tremeverse, and I'm looking for any and every excuse to draw those. I just have other stuff that needs drawing a lot more urgently.

But I think I know who you should draw first.

Beautiful. Now I'm diving into a little meta to create promos of promos, but this is also justifiable with "I'm only making variants of the ORIGINAL X-tremeverse" (Extreme-verse? Extreme-e-verse?) XTREME Setback: Snow Shredder (Power: White-out. Remove 2 Unlucky tokens and Deal yourself 5 Ice Damage. Then, deal 2 targets 3 ice damage, and 1 target 1 Ice damage. While doing the wipe-out as cool as possible.
