So thanks to the Letters Page we've been collecting a lot of characters and concepts that don't currently have art, and well, see the title of this thread. :) I thought it would be a fun thing to ask.

Some of my own wishlist:

  • Ivan's dad Fyodor Ramonat.
  • Medico's hubby Caleb Greene.
  • What Nigel Lowsley looked like before he became Infinitor.
  • The Crimson Conductor.
  • Fashion/Stylin' Shirley.
  • The Shrieker.

Fashion is high on my list. :D Gotta agree, I'd love to see Caleb as well.

My tastes trend toward "anything that could be made into a variant". I mean, Christopher has said they're not gonna make any more, so that's the fandom's purpose now, innit? :V

Good call - there’s a lot about his original appearance we still don’t know, including build, skin color, hair color, body language, … It would be interesting to see!

Yes it is, and in that spirit, I would like to see art of the Sallow Skald. and to a lesser degree the rest of the Technicolor Troubadours,

So far no one's mentioned that cosmic entity of passion that gave Galactra her powers.

Fashion is probably at the top of my list though.

Add my votes for Fashion, the Shrieker, Madame Mittermeier, the Chaos Witch, and any of the other Virtuosos of the Void Adam ever felt like drawing.

Also Citizens Pain and Gain, poor Citizen Gate, Ignazio Gallo, Shuen Zang, The Master, Night Snake, and Orthrus.

Oh, so we did, a sketch anyway.  I listen to the podcasts in an app while driving, so I don't see the show notes unless they specifically suggest we look at them during the show.

I get the feeling we're getting at least some characters' appearances on OblivAeon cards, particularly the "Technicolor Troubadours" (that's going on my ever growing "Favorite Fan Nicknames" list), but wanting more substantial art for fan variant purposes is an interesting idea. I would vote for bigger artwork of Black Fist as well, in that vein.

Recent discussions elsewhere have made me think of a couple other ideas I wouldn't mind seeing:

A Norman Rockwell-style illustration of Grandpa Legacy and some of the other superheroes from that era.

An in-actual-Sentinels continuity pic of normal!Visionary, normal!Argent, and Nightmist smiling. (Since currently all we have is Argent's card from Sentinels of the Ninth.)

-How werewolves look like in Sentinels.

-That two-headed wolf-man lumberjack.

-Maybe Con "in person"?  If he somehow has a main computer or something similar, instead of being the entire bunker.

Okay, twenty minutes into the Tempest episode, and I think we need to see this first iteration of Captain Cosmic.

I’m picturing a sort of John Carter of Mars / Flash Gordon type, with a ray gun in one hand, a green alien babe on the other arm, some kind of dog-creature behind him to one side, and a menacing alien warrior hiding in the bizarrely bulbous vegetation behind him on the other side. Big ol’ “CAPTAIN COSMIC” in slanting swoopy letters over the orange alien sky.

Because, I mean, that pulp art is terrible, but it’s also awesome.

All I can think of right now is the Gunmetal Guardian… Or if we can steal the color from AA, the Silver Sherif. Jim seems like the guy who would rather go for a straight-shot name without too much need for that fancy book learnin' to understand.

I just like the description of him as "Virtuoso of Void... Stuff".

That is definitely how he would describe himself.

"You're the... what?"

"Don't rightly understand it myself, pardner. Now stand aside. That there earth spirit's about to get an earful o' this here harmonica. I don't aim to misplay."

Yeah, just the juxtaposition of Jim being the most uncomplicated down-to-earth guy ever while being the chosen one playing a magical harmonica is what makes it so incredibly hilarious.

All I can picture is the guitar duel at the end of Crossroads, between Steve Vi and Ralph Macchio.

Also as for Jim Brooks, the Copper Copper? if we want to avoid repeating colors & still keep his down to earth-tones maybe he would be the Ochre Officer,

the Tawny Tin-man…don't know if that one works, i might be getting TinMan from… well… Tin Man

hmm…maybe, the Mahogony Marshal

I was going to see if I should watch that movie, but I'm probably never watching any movie ever again. Movies have peaked with this scene. I was probably thinking of this one though, you don't get much more epic than standing atop opposing plateaus.

I like also comparing the Crossroads scene to the violin piece that is the basis for the bit that Ralph uses to stump Steve in the movie. Paganini's Caprice no. 5.
