50 is a big number, and what better way to celebrate it than with the biggest hero in SotM, Sky-Scraper!

Yep, Christopher and Adam seemed confused by the Sky-Sky reference which I’m not too surprised about. @Christopher and Adam It’s a reference to the LewdDolphin livestream Dolphin’s Dive as he calls her that. Not fully sure why he started that but it caught on at least watching that.
Ah well, I asked other questions, but at least they answered the most important one!
I thought they were going to skip my Greazer questions and the next letter was about it so I’m glad they went through that.
I am so happy after my BPW: Bloodsworn Professional Wrestling letter that Greaser selling space shirts out of his space van is now canon.
I'm so glad she didn't die.
And I love that they were going to let her, then decided against it. Sky-Scraper is too good for death!
I love that she's BFFs with KNYFE. I love how strong her main character arc is, with the redemption in the second Kaargra Warfang fight because she's come to terms with who she is as a person. This was such a good episode. Also, I love Omnitron-P.I.'s letter, that was great. :D
Also also, I can't get it out of my head how her character arc might mimic the thought progression of someone learning to play her deck. Like, oh wow, all her damaging one-shots are great! Her Huge power is awesome, why would I ever get Tiny? And then you realize her defensive potential and start switching between the two (or like me, always stay Tiny because you can play more cards that way). But you're not a Sky-Scraper master until you realize how important it is to rest, recover, and draw a few cards every now and then.
Now we just need someone to draw the "that darn cat" meme with Luminary. :V
I like that they said she has a kind of Arabic accent; that’s exactly how I pictured it!
… is it weird that I would really like to see Adam draw Sky-Scraper just dressed up in a pretty dress, and maybe some make-up? We never see her trying to look “pretty,” but I would like to see how she pulls it off. I imagine she could clean up quite nicely!
Is anyone else piqued by the new big cosmic threat of Malice?
Definitely wondering if Malice isn't someone we've met already...
When they got to that bit I was like "I wonder if C&A realize how lucky they are that they averted a riot in the fanbase".
Seriously, everyone might have been super sad when we lost Nightmist, but I think there would have been actual blood had anything happened to Sky-Scraper.
I laughed so much at that bit. I love Baron Blade, I really do.
Oh yeah, you reminded me how much I loved that bit.
Not only would I love to see prettier Sky-Scraper (because she's already pretty, so she'd be prettier) too, but I was all like, "Man, that is like seriously the best superpower ever, the ability to fit into any dress you want".
I am glad that happy things happened in this episode in general. Sky-Scraper became on good terms with Tempest, beat the living snot out of Kaargra, made a best friend in KNYFE, and got herself a badass team in the Miststorm universe. Life is good.
So here’s a question…
Why is the filename “LettersPageMexico…?”
We had Swaptober, is there, I dunno, a Formal Wear February?
Cuz I wouldn't mind seeing how the rest of the heroes get prettied up, either. Though I guess we've already seen Wraith dressed up (and Tyler, if his uniform counts) .
The episode does bring up a question, though...
In the Futures section, they say the Prime Wardens are put back together, but with changes in the line-up. Prime War's promotional image, though, seems to have the normal line-up plus Sky-Scraper.
Does this mean some of them are not the ones we know of? I had a theory that Xtreme Tempest is the one we see in Prime War, but now I'm wondering if that's a different Hugh or Helena, too.
They say little changes for the Prime Wardens team she joins. Not line up changes.
I second the need to see all the characters all gussied up for a night on the town.
Except maybe Spite. I think the pictures we have are already that.
AH YES
I was wondering this myself. No one seemed to be in Mexico at the time…
I asked specifically on this one and it’s apparently “Malyce”. Still mysterious, though.
Can we just set up a crowdfunding campaign to get Sky-Scraper a hug in art somewhere?
I also find it odd that they'd give us the name of this villain, but not Paige or Portja's new code names.
Adam, if you’re reading this:
Please, please give us a #FormalWearFeb
I fourth (?) the suggestion of Formal Wear Sentinels. Particularly those characters where you'd never in a million years imagine them being stuffed in a dress or suit.
I was completely wrong about Skyscraper joining Global, I was hoping to hear a bit about them in this episode. From this episode Sky scraper definitely seem like a B list character, Important enough that her death during Oblivaeon would have had impact but not a major one
After the mention of Legacy’s closet full of Legacy costumes in the episode, I picture Legacy definitely wearing his hero costumes underneath his suit, but sometimes he’s not careful and you can see cape poking out from underneath the suit jacket.
Legacy's identity is public if I'm not mistaken, so he probably just sticks with his 'work clothes' more often than not when he isn't just resting at home.
I just imagine there's a 'Fancy Suit' that he saves for formal occasions, but it looks just like all his other suits...
I do wonder what changes happened to her powers in the 'SC' timeline. They were willing to give us a name of a new threat, but were silent about the changes to Sky's powers and the goings on of her and KNYFE in space...
My favorite is how on the back of Luminary's card, we see Absolute Zero wearing a suit jacket over his cryosuit.
Can we say for sure we know she's not part of GLOBAL? She and KNYFE could be doing stuff in space for GLOBAL. Although, I admit Christopher and Adam probably would have just said that if it were the case.
We've already seen the Freedom Five's and Felcia Parson's formal wear on the incapcitated side of Luminary's foil art if I'm not mistaken. It was on an art stream a while back.
Outside funeral wear, sure, which means everyone is wearing a variation on "Black overcoat." I think we were talking more, "Fancy night out" dress, more like what Wraith is wearing on Trust Fund.
That was my understanding.
Is the Portja Kip-Pro just a typo or have I been knowing it wrong the enitre time?
I wondered the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's a typo.
It's a typo, they say her name correctly in the episode.
