So we went to see Justice League last week, and something in the opening scene caught my attention.

It starts with a bunch of kids asking Superman some questions for a video blog. One of them asks if he's ever fought a hippo. Another says that's a dumb question and the first kid protests "It's the most dangerous animal!"

I know, the movie was in production well before the Nemesis podcast went live, but I just think it's funny that apparently the DCEU writers and Christopher and Adam ended up on the same page there.

It's one of those little-known fun facts that's also strangely widespread.

I knew about how dangerous thoe things were well before Sentinels was a thing.

But it'd be awesome if that was a reference.

I would Love if it was a reference. Of course they also have a semi-MiB reference in there. When the first MiB movie came up 2 of the "Aliens" on the big monitor in the background were Prince & David Bowie, and the headline of a newspaper in the opening sequence pulled the MiB line about Elvis "Did they just go home?"
