This episode of the Editor's Note covers lots of things, but not which of Christopher and Adam is the Editor of Editor's note, nor why there is more than one note.

Listen to this month's episode here

Well, we still don't have much information on Biomancer's machinations, but at least we get an explanation as to why he doesn't do much during the card game...

Interesting that next month we get Kaargra but still no Sky-Scraper.   The Cosmic Settings episode I feel is going to be a lot about the Enclave of the Endlings than anything else.   I’d also wager that ay questions for any of these episodes should probably be sent in sooner rather than later as I’m sure Christmas will likely move up recordings of at least one of these episodes.

I have to imagine Sky-Scraper comes right after, in January. She got her start in the Bloodswarn Coliseum after all, right?

So, I'm really glad they liked the "brothers" joke, and it segued into a tanget about Adam's family. :D I was kind of sad they didn't read that question in the Scholar episode, was not expecting it for an EN!

But way to dodge the "who made the Wager" question, guys! >:B

Kinda feel like this makes up for any disappointment at the Biomancer ep. It was a hoot. :D

Yes and no.  Her first appearance is a few hundred issues before Kaargra’s.   So at the very least the Coliseum is introduced long before Kaargra is.

It seems my prediction about this month's episodes was almost accurate except for having the Contest instead of Sky-Sky. Which makes me sad because I've been so much wanting to know more about Sky-Sky.

On the other hand I've also been wanting to know about the whole deal about everybody being gladiators, so I can only half complain...

And I admit I almost feel sorry for Biomancer now on his major weakness thing. Almost. Just a tiny bit. And now am even more eager for the RPG corebooks to finally be a thing.

And I actually do legitimately feel sorry for him on the whole "innate talent" bit, since I can actually relate to that gripe/resentment. C&A seem to have the same outlook I do that talent is more important to everything people can do than actual training, and it's always been a source of upset for me that I seem to have literally no innate talents whatsoever and while I'm good at thinking/learning that's still never been able to get me as better than mediocre at anything as a result.

It reminds me of me and my best friend when it comes to music, actually. He has an inborn knack for things like hearing pitches that I don't, so I'm merely decent at singing after years of formal study while he's extremely good at basically everything musical after mainly just teaching himself, so I always kinda resented him a little for that. Anyhoo.

Maybe Biomancer's obsession with perfecting and copying nature is fueled partly by that; a sort of "take that!" at everyone who was born with abilities he can only try to replicate.

Chokepoint being an Omega is somehow both unexpected and yet not a surprise at the same time.

The "is there comics in the Sentinels Universe" question was kind of amusing to me since in the Marvel universe there explicitly is comics that feature the "real life" heroes, as well as movies based on said heroes and gossip/celebrity mags that feature heroes.

I just expect Skyscraper to get the short end of the stick these days.

On the upside, she also gets the big end of the stick as well, because she's the only one large enough to carry it!

*rimshot*

Honestly, talent is really just a better starting point than no talent.  All the talent in the world is useless if you don't use it.

I don't have any real talent for cooking, but I've gotten pretty good at cooking since I started actually doing so and trying new things. (no inedible meals yet!)

My natural physical gifts are modest at best, but I'm a Green Glove in Savate with less than a year of training, and aiming for Red Glove (and the ability to compete) soon, probably early next year.

@Blackfang108: I only wish that were actually true; then I might actually be good at something as opposed to just merely okay at a bunch of things. :P

During the Oblivaeon event Unity creates a T rex sized Mr Chomps - that's what I thought they were talking about

So, in discussing 'Trust Fund', am I the only one that laughed out loud when Christopher mentioned Mister Fixer looking in on the party through a window.....?

"Slim, what're you doing?"
"...guessing? I...guess there's something going on in there?"

I think the part about Unity was kind of sad. For some reason I never imagined she had trouble making friends, but the more I think about it the more it ends up making some really good sense.

And that not only makes her connection with O-X more interesting and deep, but makes "Caspit's Playground" kind of even more creepy and worrying.

Love ya Devra, but please don't develop either a god complex or a "replace all flesh with superior metal" comples.

And I agree with Jeysie, Choke being an Omega is somehow not terribly surprising. Though there wasn't mention of a water related incident in discussions of her origin.

I seriously laughed hard with the Crazy Taxi intro. My first instinct to Adam saying, “Are you ready to make some CRAZY money?” was going “YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!” and then hear the same thing on the other side.

Disparation episode where Unity thinks Chokepoint is kinda awesome and maybe has the right idea, so they team up to turn everything into a utopia of metal and mechanical beings where fleshy things are merely the servants and entertainment. (…I think I might have actually come up with something like this in the old "imagine universes where the heroes become the villains and the villains become the heroes" thread.)

I can't believe I didn't notice that…

I mean, it's not necessiarily a soundproof window, and parties can totally draw attention that way.

Its either a reference too or a similar joke to one in Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

She does not make a T. Rex* sized Raptor Bot. That would be silly.

She makes a T. Rex sized T. Rex bot.

It’s in the background of her TermiNation character card, which I’m surprised they didn’t just say.

…unless they WERE talking about something else…!

The reference was my own. It was the first thing that came to mind when Christopher said that.
